Max's POV:

"Okay just like how we practiced!" Bobby said, giving me a bouquet of flowers.

"And remember, be honest about what you feel about her." PJ added, making me nod.

"Yeah. Okay." I exhaled, staring at the door in front of me.

I could feel myself getting nervous and sweaty. "Uh, maybe we should lay off on the serenading..."

Turning around to look at my friends, I saw PJ ready to press the play button on the radio.

He looked between me and the radio and laughed awkwardly, "Yeah! Of course!"

I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

My heart kept on jumping inside my chest and my mind racing over the millions of apologies I came up with upon leaving the Bean Scene.

The door clicked and slowly opened, a smile growing on my face.

Until the door revealed (Y/N)'s roommate, Julia.

The blue haired girl had a hand on her hip, glaring at me. "What do you want, Max Goof?"

"I- uh, I just wanted... to see (Y/N)! Yeah, uh, is she in there?" I stuttered, trying to look inside the room.

Julia shook her head and crossed her arms, "Nope."

"What? B-but! Where is she?"

"I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know?" I asked, worry spread all over my face.

Bobby and PJ rushed to us, wanting to know what was going on.

"Like I said, I don't know. She keeps on going out by herself since you kicked her out of the team." The blue haired girl leaned on the doorway, looking at the three of us.

"You know, Max." Her green eyes pierced through me with a serious look, "You and Bradley are actually the same."

I gave her a confused look as Bobby walked up a few steps to her, "What do you mean by that?"

"Yeah! You don't know Max as much as we do!" PJ added, holding his beret.

She got off from the doorway and stared at me, "I don't know much about you. But I know, Bradley. The both of you got the chance to have girl teammates and you two blew it, just because they got in the way of your success. I saw how you pushed my best friend on that platform."

Guilt washed over me as Julia glared at me then continued, "She just didn't want anything to happen to you and your ego so she had to stop that cheater even if it takes at least some sacrifice from her part."

She sighed, looking away. "Look. I like her, I've never had a friend like her. If you hurt her again, I'll definitely be seeing you in the emergency room."

A small smile went up on my face, "I promise. I'll never hurt her again."

"Thanks, Max." Julia smiled. "If you still want to find her, she might be at the Principal's office."

"Why would she be there?" I asked, my eyebrows furrowed.

Her smile faltered, looking at me with sad eyes. "She plans on transferring out."

~~~
I ran as fast as my feet could to the Principal's office, hoping to bump into (Y/N) like what keeps on happening in this mess I made.
My feet stopped as I was in front of the building, my knees buckled and my lungs were trying to get some air.
The door opened, revealing a beautiful girl with (H/C) hair. "I'll be going now Principal Morrison! Thank you for your time."
(Y/N) turned around, a smile gracing her beautiful features until her eyes landed on mine.
"Max? What are you doing here?" She asked, clutching her chest.
"(Y/N)! Please don't transfer out! We still need you. I need you..." I cried out, stumbling towards her.
"How'd you know I was planning to transfer?" Her eyes widened.
I smiled, "Julia told me. I went to your dorm earlier to apologize for the things I stupidly did to you, but now that you're here in front of me I can finally do it."
She looked away as I walked closer to her, making her look at me with my hand.
"You didn't deserve to get hurt, worse because of me. I'm so sorry, for all the things that got you hurt. They're all my fault.." I gulped, grabbing her other hand with my free one.
"I love you. And I promise you, if you give me another chance, I'll make it up to you." I cupped her cheek.
She leaned into my touch as tears rolled down the corner of her eyes, "Max..."
Her voice cracked as more tears flowed down her face. I wiped them with my thumbs, both of my hands resting on the sides of her head.
I felt my heart sink at the sight of her, this is my fault. She's crying because of me..
Suddenly, she smiled. Her smile was as bright as the sun as it lit up the skies, getting rid of the remaining rain clouds from earlier.
"I love you too.."
My heart stopped inside my chest, I'm not sure if it's because I ran almost half the school grounds or because she reciprocated my feelings.
I smiled, my breath hitching. "Y-you mean it?"
(Y/N) laughed, that beautiful sound echoing in my ears. "Of course, you dork!"
I laughed, leaning down and placing a kiss on those soft lips of hers.
We pulled away while I placed my forehead on hers, looking in each other's eyes.
"Okay, you've successfully won me back. Now what?" (Y/N) giggled.
"So you're not transferring out anymore?"
"Yes, but I have to inform Principal Morrison first."
I nodded and nuzzled my nose onto hers. "That's fine by me."
"What's next on the agenda?" She asked as we pulled away from each other.
I gave her a determined look and smiled, "We're going to beat those Gammas and be the best team among the best."
Grabbing her hand, I continued. "And I'll be the luckiest boyfriend and teammate ever if you join back in the team. Bobby and PJ miss you."
(Y/N) smiled and kissed my cheek. "Okay, I'm back in."
I kissed her one last time, this one much longer and more passionate than the last one.
We pulled away, our lips barely touching.
"Let's do it to it."
