"So what now?" Mrs. Mayberry asked the other demons in the shelter. "We stay here until the time comes. Everyone stay out and not make sounds," another demon whispered as they heard some of the exterminators run by.

Mrs. Mayberry walked around the room, checking so everyone was comfortable when she noticed a lady in the corner of the room. She walked over.

"Hey, you alright?" The woman nodded her head and looked away. Mrs. Mayberry sat down beside her to notice the girl were shaking. "Are you cold?" The woman shook her head and Mayberry looked around the room, it was kinda packed. "You're scared of crowds?" The woman hesitated until she nodded her head. Mayberry smiled slightly and held an arm around her shoulders and brings her to let her lie against her side. "Don't worry, I got you," She whispered and the woman blushed. "What's your name, dear?"

"Y-Y/n,"

"Well, Y/n. It's nice to meet you, I'm Mrs. Mayberry," Y/n smiled up at her but snapped her head over to the door when it began to shake. Everyone in the room went quiet and Mayberry held Y/n tighter in a protective motion.

Y/n blushed at how close she was to the other woman and buried her head against Mayberry's shoulder and closed her eyes as the doors shaking only got louder and louder.
Until... it stopped completely.

Some kids walked over to the window and glanced outside to see some exterminators run off to kill some demon who hadn't got to a shelter yet. "Hey! Get away from the windows," their father whisper yelled at them and they ran over to him.

Mayberry looked down at Y/n, "You can open your eyes now, love,"

Y/n looked up at her, "W-What?"

"I said you can open your eyes now, they're gone-"

"N-No, the thing y-you called me..." Mayberry then smirked as her hand went from Y/n's shoulders and to her waist.

"Love?" Y/n blushed and looked away, embarrassed which made Mayberry chuckle as she grabbed Y/n's chin to make her look back at her.

"When this is over, let me take you on a date," Y/n were unsure and nervous but nodded her head slowly. Not used to this kind of treatment. Mayberry snickered and kissed her forehead. "Then it's settled,"
