The next day.
Everyone still can't get over what amazing the party was. It was a blast. Every part of the school and every corner of the room, it was the only thing that is students are talking about.
I look at the back of our room where a group of students were talking.
"Damn, that was the best party, I've ever gone to." The boy stated.
The others nodded, agreeing. "Me, too!"
I smiled at the thought. It even was praised by the other schools.
The talk of the town.
The party was indeed the club's pride. It was an event to be remembered with yet of it, another question was dug into my mind. But I don't want to hold into it more, not now.
I got out of the room and immediately saw Jungkook walking through the hallway, probably to go home. "Kook!" I run towards him.
The class was already dismissed. Now that the club's not that busy anymore, I decided to spend more time with him to catch up.
I must confront Jungkook.
Well, indirectly though. He must be the one to tell me what he's really feeling. I'm not naïve. I can also feel it every time we go out together. I can sense him portraying that kind of love to me that is not a friend type of way.
I promise Chaeyoung regarding this matter. I know I must do it.
He's becoming more distant than ever and I felt sad because of it. I can't lose this friendship.
I can't lose him.
"So, where are we going?" I asked, grinning.
"What? I'm going home." He stated not even giving me glance. He just walked faster.
I frowned at his gesture. I can read him clearly when he's lying. I know him that much. And right now, I know he's keeping something from me.
"Jungkook Jeon." I firmly called his name and halted from moving.
He immediately stopped from his tracks and turned around to face me. He knows when I state his full name, it means I'm getting pissed.
And I know he don't want that to happen.
He patted my head. "I was just joking, Chi." He then laughed.
Fake. That's not how you laugh.
He put his arms around my shoulders and pulled me close. We started walking again.
This time together.
"I forgot how your mood can change in a split second every time you're hungry." He chuckle. "So let's eat."
I glare at him and smack his shoulders making him chuckle.
Now, there's that smile.
I pushed his arms away from my shoulders. "Never mind, I'm not going with you." I turned my back at him and started walking away.
"Hey, hey, Chi. Come on." He grabbed my arm to stop me from walking.
I was holding myself not to smile. I turn to face him again, giving him a stoic expression. I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes at him.
I was pretending to be pissed to tease him more.
"I'm sorry, okay." He looked down. "I'm sorry for not attending the party. I heard it was great. Congratulations." He quickly glance at me to smile but looked away again right after.
"I'm sorry for being d-distant this past few days." He looked anywhere but me. "I was kind of b-busy with the business and some f-family matters. I-" He combed his hair in distress and sighed deep.
He stared at me intently, and suddenly became serious. "I know you're probably wondering about why I haven't told you about my problems and such," He grabbed my hand and squeezed it tight. "I promise I'll tell you everything when the right time comes."
I nodded twice and gave him a sweet smile
"I'm sorry, Chi." He stated.
"Chicken."
"W-what?" He asked, his eyebrows knitted.
I giggled. "Buy me chicken and I'll forgive you."
He laughed, shaking his head in disbelief. "Now!" I barked at him. I pulled him as he was just chuckling at my silliness.
We then started walking out of the school.

"Kook, did you meet somebody when you were away?" I suddenly asked.
He stopped eating and looked at me. I smiled, teasing him.
"Why? Are you jealous?" He asked back.
I scoffed and made a face at him while rolled my eyes.
"But seriously, Kook," I cleared my throat. "I still haven't seen you with someone."
"I just don't feel the need to have it" He shrugged. "You get what I mean, right?"
"No, I don't." Still, pushing the topic even more. "Come on, tell me you have someone in mind, right?"
He just stared at me and suddenly went red. I froze when his hand reached for my lips, gently wiping it. I gently brushed his hands off and wipe it myself.
I let out a nervous laugh.
God, Jungkook Jeon.
Please, not me.
"Naaaah!" He laughed. "I already have you."
"What?" I asked as I took a big gulped in my throat.
"Having a best friend like you, Chi is enough." He stated as he genuinely smile at me.
Damn, he just won't confess. I must change this topic aside from now or he might found out what I've been planning on doing.
I glared at him oddly and widen my eyes. I covered my mouth and dramatically gasped while pointing at him.
"OMG! Kook, are you gay!?"
He immediately laugh out loud.
"What the hell?! Jisoo! No! Of course not!" He grabbed a crumble piece of tissue and threw it at me. "Fuck, my stomach hurts!" He started caressing his tummy while wiping his tears from laughing.
I smiled as I stared at him lovingly. I'll savor this moment 'til it lasts.
