It's been three days.
I wasn't going to school anymore.
When my Mom asked me why, I just told her I'm not feeling well and I want to stay in my room for the meantime.
She understand and let me be.
I never left my room and just wailed my hearts out until I couldn't cry no more.
I avoided everyone including my Mom. Even Halmeoni who was on her way back home.
I just told my friends that I'm not feeling well and couldn't be with them for now. They started asking a lot of questions but I didn't have the guts to tell them. I don't have any intention to tell them the real reason, actually.
I don't want them getting involved.
Most especially Taehyung, he must not know about it.
I'll make sure of it.
I need to protect him from this hurt even if it takes is to feel this pain all by myself.
I glance at the clock. It was already 6 o'clock. The sun has started the set.
Almost time for my Mom to come back home. I went down and just then, the front door opens. My eyes met my Mom's gaze.
"How are you feeling, hon?" She put her car keys in the center table. She glanced back at me to which I immediately look away.
"Fine."
"That's good." She said.
I started putting on my jacket and started marching through out the front door.
"Where are you going?" She suddenly asked.
"Out."
She sighed. "Yes. I can clearly see that, hon. But where are you going?"
"Somewhere." I answered without glancing back at her.
She took a deep breath. "All right. Just be back before dinner, okay?"
I didn't answer and just straight away walked out of the house.

I'm at a convenience store. I didn't know why I went here but I got nowhere else to go.
I looked around, the store was quiet and peaceful.
Just what I needed.
I made my way to the table in the corner of the store and opened a cup ramen that I bought earlier. I started eating fast.
Damn, I'm starving. I wasn't eating right for the past few days.
I put down my wallet and phone in the table and started eating again. Suddenly, my phone rings. I stared at the screen.
It was Taehyung calling me for the nth time already.
I pushed the answer button right away.
"Chi, thank god. You finally answer!" He exclaimed. "I'm coming to your house. I don't care if that sickness of yours is contagious or whatever the fuck that is," My eyebrows knitted.
"What?" I asked.
"Jungkook told us about you being sick and-" He sighed. "You know what, I don't care, just wait for me there."
"No."
"Chi, please I-"
"I'm not home." I stated.
"What?" He shouted. His voice sounded worried and alarmed. "Where are you? Are you fine? Is it-"
"Let's just meet somewhere else." I cut him off. "I'll text you the address."
"Jisoo, I-" I pushed the end button before he could answer back.
I finished the ramen in one go and immediately went out of the store.
I decided to stay outside and wait for Taehyung to come. The cold breeze of the night was already here. I was glad I wore my thickest jacket there is.
I glanced everywhere and started to like the place. It was a quiet neighborhood. There wasn't a lot of people outside so the night was serene.
I look up in the sky and sadly smile. The moon was full and so bright. And the way it shines down, it gleams that could take anyone's breath away.
"I'm sorry, Moon."
"I guess you have to witness something heartbreaking tonight," I said to it like it would talk back at me.
I became silent, trying to hold back my tears.
"But you're beautiful tonight, Moon." I talked back again.
"So beautiful."
I suddenly heard something chuckle. I glanced at my side and saw Taehyung staring at the moon, too.
"H-how long have you been there?"
"Oh, just now," He looked at me, grinning. "When you we're complimenting the moon right there."
"You're weird, you know that." He laughed.
All of a sudden, I felt like hugging him.
And so, I did.
I hugged him tight. So tight like its going to be the last one.
He didn't questioned me but instead, hugged me back with the same intensity.
"I'm sorry, Tae." He pulled from the embrace and looked at me, brows knitted.
"I can't do this no more," I tried myself not to stutter. "Let's break up."
"What? No. What are you talking about?!" He exclaimed. Clearly, he was shocked at my sudden decision.
"Chi, what are you saying? Is this about that night, when I say something bad about your father?" He started to panic. "Chi, I'm sorry. I was being insensitive. I wasn't thinking right. I-"
I shook my head. "No. You're right about it." I smiled at him. "So right. That's why I realized this was so not fair to you."
"No. I-"
"Let's just stop this. I'm so tired." I cut him off. "I gave up."
He scoffed. "You're just giving up that easily?" He yelled out. "That's so pathetic, Jisoo."
I didn't answer. I just blankly stared at him.
I saw how his tears started to build up, he was on the verge of crying. I swallowed a hard lump in my throat and keep my blank face still.
"Tell me, Tae" I looked straight into his eyes. "Did we really even try?"
I let out a chuckle. It was fake and bleak. "No we didn't. We just put it all aside temporarily and pretended that it was okay." I answered my own question.
"But the truth is, it's not." I continued. "And it will never be."
I took a deep breath and let it all out in one go. "So let's just stop it already."
His tears started falling down his cheeks as he stared at me. Looking for some answers. Watching me gave way and think that I was just bluffing.
But I'm not. Even I know those words I muttered to him was all true.
Even he knows that.
"This is over."
