For my best friend,

I have seen, I have seen a lot, perhaps too much for what I am but nevertheless I have seen a lot to know you. You my friend, are the one that was promised to me, the one that was supposed to love me, the one that should care for me, the one that was going to last until the very end. As your friend, I would like to thank you for not being the one you could have been. Thank you, for choosing another over me.

I never knew how easy it is to write about you. Its been so long, I wonder how you have aged?

Have the passing years been nice to you? Did the past also leave its traces on you? Were you doing well?

Were you....happy?

I have so many questions that I want to ask you. I know that I wont see you again, at least not until I breathe my last breath so I hope you wont mind I if broke my promise.

You might find it greedy but I want to have something to remind of you when I start to forget your name, your smile and the memories that are so precious to me. So just for this one time, allow me to be greedy.
