Chapter 4

Natasha POV

"MOVE OUT OF MY WAY" I screamed when I saw her limp body against the wall.

Thankfully we had asked for all our things to be delivered plus I had parked close to the entrance in case something happened and we needed to make a quick exit.

I lifted her up off the floor and carried her through the crowd into the back of the car. Making sure to carry her in the correct position. Last time this happened Fury almost killed us plus she was out for two hours.

As we parked in the garage of compound I saw thankfully didn't see Fury's car in his spot. He didn't do a surprise visit today as he loved to do at the most in opportune moments. It's like he senses when we have done something wrong.

I carried her inside and straight to the elevator ignoring everyone but Tony and Bruce in the common room.

I entered the elevator asking JARVIS to quickly go to the med bay and to get Bruce there. I carried her to the first bed and sat on the chair waiting for Bruce. Bruce came rushing in minuets later looking worriedly at Y/N.

"What happened to her." He asked

"We were Finished shopping when some people recognized me and came up to us. They started coming in droves and noticed her standing off to the side and cornered her bombarding her with questions. She freaked out and shocked herself again."

Bruce listened intently while hooking her up to the machine to monitor her vitals.

"You're lucky Fury didn't do his surprise visit today. He would have killed you."

"Yea I know"

"She should be good. Last time she was only out for a couple hours so everything should be similar. She probably did it harder this time so I expect it should take a little longer and when she's up we'll check for any brain damage."

"Alright I'll be back in a couple minutes I have to go eat something" I say looking at my watch to see its almost 2.

I go to the elevator and ride to the common room which leads to the kitchen. As I walked in all eyes landed on me. I walked into the kitchen ignoring them while I made myself some pasta.

"Hey Nat, where's Y/N" Steve asks

"She's knocked out in the med bay" I say as casually as possible

With that everyone stopped what they were doing and ran into the kitchen to stand behind the counter.

"What!"

"What happened?"

"Why"

Clint, Tony and Wanda all asked me at the same time. While still making my lunch I explained what had happened at the mall and took it as my chance to ask Tony a question.

"Tony. Can you get into JARVIS and find out all he knows about Y/N."

"Um I can But why." Tony questions

"I asked him about it this morning and all he said was that everything I needed to know about her I already knew. Plus he wasn't permitted to tell me more. He also added to the end, and I quote "I do hope you befriends Y/N more than you have. She needs someone and I believe you can help her." I have no idea what he's talking about and if you can get through that would be amazing."

"Yea sure" Tony said looking confused. "I'll go try that now"

I nod as I go back to my food. Everyone else went back to doing whatever they were doing before. I finished eating and made my way back to the med bay to go check on Y/N.

Y/N POV

I started feeling a dull throb in my head. I could feel someone sitting beside me as I tried to open my eyes. When I did I immediately closed them as I was met with bright lights.

I knew that Natasha was sitting beside me weather I saw her or not. I made sure to lie perfectly still and try and see if she's awake or not. Upon opening my eyes I saw her on her phone probably scrolling through Instagram.

"Hey" I whispered. She immediately looked up from her phone and brought me a glass of water.

"Hey to you. How are you feeling?" She asked me.

"Good. How long was I out for."

"Three and a half hours. Bruce said you would be out for longer this time."

"Oh alright. Can I leave." I wanted to get back to my room. I had slept so much in the last 24 hours that I wouldn't sleep for days.

"Yea but I think Bruce wants to do some tests to make sure your brain is ok."

"Alright" I say as I lie back down. Nat goes to get Bruce and he comes in shortly after. He asked some simple questions, did some scans and checked me over. When he finished I was allowed to leave. Finally at around 6pm. With Nat following behind me.
