The Insomniac// Avengers Fanfiction

Chapter 12

Nat POV

I was walking around the compound looking for Y/N. I had just finished training and she wasn't in her room. She doesn't really go anywhere in the tower so I was kinda freaking out after like 10 minutes of looking. 

I burst into the common room instantly scaring Steve, Peter and Clint. Bucky was there too but he kinda doesn't get that scared anymore. They must have been back from their missions.

"Do you know where Y/N is?" I ask

"Umm no we haven't seen her" Steve says

"Shit this is not good" I mutter

"Woah just ask JARVIS where she is." Clint says going back to his food. 

"JARVIS where is Y/N."

"Miss Y/L/N is currently in the lab with Mr. Stark." JARVIS answers

Well that did not help me at all. He is going to say something stupid. Or hurt her again. I guess everyone else was also thinking along those lines because they all got up and ran to the elevator with me. 

JARVIS seamed to make the elevator go as slow as possible because it took forever for us to get there. I have no idea why I care so much and am trying my best not to analyze any feeling regarding Y/N. 

We finally get to the lab floor and see Y/N and Tony dancing around to some music together. She was laughing out loud and looked so happy. They were spinning and singing along to the music while somehow simultaneously working on their individual suits. 

We were all standing there in surprise. We hadn't left the elevator and I pushed the common room floor again. Clint and Steve looked at me confused as to what I was doing.

"Let them be guys. She's having fun. We don't want to ruin that."

They seemed to agree with me as they left it at that and went back to whatever they were doing before I came down. I went to the kitchen to start on dinner. I guess I had been training for longer than I thought.

Y/N POV 

Nat made lasagna for dinner. It was really good but I had moved a lot more today so I was starting to feel tired. I knew that no matter what I would still be awake all night but I was wishing so much for sleep.

"Y/N. You start training tomorrow" Tony said. With that my head whipped up I was not good at not sleeping and then training. It will be way more noticeable that I don't rest with that much physical activity. At Shield I slept more than I normally would. Fury would sneak sleeping pills into my food or water after days with training. He wouldn't let me go on missions very often.

"What?" I ask confused. I hadn't done it for a while and was starting to think that they had forgotten.

"Fury called earlier and said that you should start training soon" Tony explained "Wanda is the only one with powers similar to yours so you'll train with her. Nat will train you in hand to hand combat. You already trained at Shield so you will already be pretty skilled."

"Alright then. Y/N we start tomorrow 5 to 7" Wanda said cheerily. I liked Wanda. She was like my best friend here and was really nice when I first got here

"Same here Y/N tomorrow starting at 9. Give you a chance to cool down after training with Wanda." Nat said with a smile

"OK then" I said smiling at them both

"Get a good night's rest because we are not going to go easy on you" Nat said with a chuckle

Like that's going to happen I thought to myself as everyone went back to their own conversations. 

After dinner I was on my way back to the lab when Nat stopped me. 

"Do you want to go to the movies after training with Wanda and I. It's a smaller theater with fewer people." She asked

"Uh sure around 12." I confirmed

"Yea. See you for training at nine."

"Uh huh see you there."

With that I went into the lab going back to my work until around 9:30, when Tony told me to sleep for training. 

(Sorry it's shorter I have the training chapter ready and I didn't want to put it with this one and make it incredibly long)
