Scars and lessons learnt.
Dues paid,
No more getting burnt.
Feeling betrayed
Heart is invaded
But the memories will fade
And feelings will be uncomplicated.
Trust is shaken
But love is faithful.
Even heart is breaking
But loves cruel and hateful.
Letting go of hope
For feeling unimportant
Is ever present
So there's no more hope.
Despite sadness
Removing sweet caring from my heart
Left it empty with coldness
I found happiness was always present.
I am blessed with strength
Giving love, honest and true
Self-love brings great happiness
When to self, you remain true.
