I've fought battles
Been thru hurtful situations,
And have grown to be
A strong woman who'll survive anything.
I'm letting go
Of things and people
Who've failed me,
Moving away from failed goals,
Enduring all that hurt me.
I've experienced
The goodness of prayers,
The blessings of God,
And i'm thankful.
Grateful for big or small blessings,
Grateful for everything on this journey.
I may never be your love,
Nor others joy
I may not be others blessing need,
But thank God I realized
He blessed me daily.
I love the life I live,
I love the joy he gave,
I love me enough
To go thru pain
Thru feeling unlovable,
Thru ungratefulness
And thru selfish hurts
To come out stronger!
