By the time Jimin was back at the castle, he was starting to feel extreme exhaustion.
He had not slept or eaten for a day while he traveled and looked through the books. Yet he was relieved that he didn't get into much trouble on his way back and at least had some information on what he was looking for.
Without any delay, we went straight to the throne room but The King wasn't there.
He asked the guards about The King and one of them informed him that The King went towards the dungeons just a few seconds ago.
Hearing that, Jimin anxiously hurried towards the dungeons. He thought maybe The King had lost his patience and was planning to do something bad. He had to find him before that.
Luckily, he was on time and found The King outside the dungeon, clenching his fist, looking at Vante who was barely visible because of the duskiness. But they could make out he was asleep.
"My King!"
The King's eyes widened as soon he heard Jimin's voice. He turned back and found Jimin. "Did you find it?"
"Yes," Jimin replied.
Namjoon was hopeful and anxious. "Speak," he said, ignoring how exhausted and anxious Jimin looked.
Jimin looked at the dungeon then at Namjoon, "The beings having that kind of eyes are called Sapphire. And..." he was feeling more anxious than he had thought, "They are extremely rare, you can say the rarest, so their power may not be accurately known. But after some breaking point, they are said to be invulnerable."
Namjoon looked disturbed, " You mean- Invulnerable? Breaking Point? What?"
"They get invulnerable after surviving some breaking point. The breaking point can be anything ferocious like jumping into the fire. Then coming out alive."
"You mean if he reaches that breaking point he is incapable of being harmed?" Namjoon asked, extremely displeased with the fact.
As far as Jimin knew, no being can be completely invulnerable, there was always something that could make him vulnerable, like emotional manipulation. But he thought it was better to not mention that to The King.
"Yes. If you try really hard, you may be able to hurt him a bit but it will never be enough to kill him. He can be invulnerable and I think he has already reached the breaking point," Jimin said.
"What is this baloney! I don't believe it. And how do you even know?" Namjoon was enraged. Then suddenly he realized it.
He let out his Zeť aura and Taehyung's aura was visible to him. It was escaping through his body without any resistance. Namjoon was shocked.
"He would have died within a few hours if that amount of aura escaped through him. But he's still alive. He still suffers from exhaustion and starving but it won't kill him," Jimin explained, "That means he has already gone through some breaking point at some point in the past. He's invulnerable now"
Since Namjoon had no way to question what Jimin said, he had to finally believe it.
Jimin saw how uneasy and angry Namjoon looked.
He did use powerful people to work for him but someone who he couldn't hurt was starting to seem like a threat to him.
He was extremely uneasy and mad after knowing about Vante and suddenly his aura grew fierce and he screamed, making everyone outside the dungeon move back with fear, due to his abrupt move. Luckily, Taehyung looked like he was still passed out.
Jimin was scared, he knew Namjoon would cause destruction any minute if not stopped. He wouldn't even mind killing a number of people inside the castle. Namjoon's threatening aura was able to manipulate other's aura and impose fear in them, making them kneel down and submit instantly.
Jimin too was kneeling down by now. he said fighting back the force, trying to think rationally and find out a way to stop Namjoon.
"Don't mistake invulnerability for immortality. They're different things," Jimin said.
Hearing that, Namjoon abruptly stopped himself from continuing what he was doing, "What? It means there's still a way to kill him," he smirked.
Jimin nodded.
"Why didn't you mention it before?! Tell me before I kill everyone present here," Namjoon warned.
"I tried to look everywhere but couldn't find it. I honestly don't know, My King. I just read that they are invulnerable but not immortal," Jimin replied.
Namjoon was staring at the ground as if thinking something and Jimin felt he would lose control once again. But then Namjoon suddenly smiled and calmed down, surprising Jimin. He started to walk away from the dungeon and everyone present there felt relieved.
Jimin sighed and followed him.
On his way, Namjoon stopped to ask one of his men to call Hoseok to the throne room then resumed walking.
Once inside the throne room, he started laughing.
"You are going to make him work for you, right?" Jimin asked, trying to understand the reason behind Namjoon's behavior.
Namjoon laughed even more, "Do you think I'm a fool?!" his laugh stopped, "I can never let that disrespecting being work for me. I've got a better solution. The one that could make him vulnerable and let me use his power at the same time." A grin exposed his dimples.
Jimin realized what Namjoon was going to do. He wondered how couldn't he think of it earlier, it wasn't like him. Or maybe I would've definitely thought of it if that bunny imposter hadn't distracted me.
Namjoon spoke, "It may be extremely difficult for me to hurt him but we saw how he is still vulnerable to my aura. No doubt I overpower him in that aspect."
Jimin nodded.
"If I remove his golden core, his powers won't work. Maybe back then when Sapphire existed, people had no way to destroy one's core. But right now we do," Namjoon said, "Tomorrow I'll ask Dong Woon to take out Vante's golden core then ask the wizard to create an elixir from it." And I could become invulnerable, Namjoon thought.
Jimin was scared. He had seen people die when their golden core was removed, in most of the cases. But certainly, The King didn't care, he only wanted power and to be more powerful than anyone else. But what if after The King acquires invulnerability, he is satisfied? What if he stops being reckless after realizing that he doesn't need to fear anyone? Jimin thought. Right then, Hoseok entered the throne room.
"You called me, Your Majesty."
"Tomorrow, Dong Woon will remove Vante's golden core. But before that, I need you to find information about his breaking point," Namjoon ordered, Also, he says parts of his memory are missing. I don't believe it."
Hoseok stood there confused whereas Jimin knew what The King meant to do. He wanted to know about the breaking point with the help of Hoseok because Vante seemed to be a bit friendly with him.
Namjoon looked at Jimin, "Explain it to him. And accompany him to make sure that Vante doesn't lie."
Hoseok took a look at Jimin then bowed to Namjoon.
Namjoon looked at Jimin whose eyes were almost closing at times and it looked as if he was going to pass out.
"You better do whatever you have to to get back to normal soon. Because I need the task to be done before tomorrow afternoon. If not, then, one of you is going to be killed," Namjoon warned.
