Y/N's Pov-

The teacup had Kirari's phone number on it. Should I call it? I bit my lip, thinking over my decision. I looked up at the clock, it was 4:22..Would she be up this late? I frowned. What would I even say to her? "Hello sorry for randomly calling you at 4:00 in the morning on a school night because I figured what the hell, why not." Would have to be my response. I grinned as I set the teacup down and ran upstairs, grabbing my phone and running back down. I hurriedly ran back into the kitchen, and tilted the cup over to read the number. Unlocking my phone, I dialed her number, hesitating at the call button.

Should I do it?

Hell yes, I should. I took no more reluctance as I quickly pressed the button. My hand shook as the phone began ringing.

One ring..

Two ring..

Three ring..

And then it stopped.

"Hello?" I panicked. Jesus for 4 o clock in the morning she sure did answer fast.
"Is anybody there?"

I cleared my throat.

"Kirari? It's Y/N."

"Oh? So you found my number, I presume?" I gulped, as I walked into the living room. "Yea, I did." I heard a creak over the receiver, and a subtle laugh. "Are you enjoying some early morning tea?" I smiled as I sat down on the couch, watching the sun rise up over the horizon, through the window in front of me.

"No, actually I was going to make some. But then I saw your number, and I..Well, I got side-tracked I guess."

I heard a light chuckle from her side of the call. "Well either way, I'm glad you saw the number." I bit my lip. "Why is that?"

"Well how else would I be able to talk to you? Unless that'd  be tomorrow, but that's far too long." I relaxed more, tossing a blanket over my lap while leaning my back against a pillow.

"You're that eager to talk to me? How come?" I would expect that right now, she'd be smirking from ear to ear. "Well considering what happened a little bit ago.." Her tone turned more sharp, and cold as she spoke. "I was curious as to how you're feeling now."

I nodded, just to myself. Recalling the hurtful words that were said.

"Are you okay, Y/N?"

I smiled. "Now that I'm talking to you, I think I am. I appreciate your worry."

"Of course, Y/N. Im glad to hear it." Her voice sounded off now. Like she was thinking about something, and her words word spoken with nervousness. I figured that right now would be a good time to mention something..

"Hey Kirari," despite her odd response before, she was quick to answer. "Yes, Y/N?"

"During before, when Mary asked if I was dating you and Ririka..You both said yes..But, why is that?" A steady, yet shaky breath echoed over the phone. "I can't respond for my sister, but I did it so you wouldn't be made a fool. She mentioned us kissing in the hallways, and us walking you home. Which lets be honest Y/N, isn't something you do to someone you aren't in a relationship with." I frowned.

"Don't lie to me, Momobami."

Her shaky breath hitched. "What do you mean, Y/N? How did I lie?" The sun was now up and over the faded pink line of the mountains.

"I know you didn't say that because you were tying to cover for me. You said that because you actually wished what you said was true."

Silence..

"Y/N, what if I told you I said that because I thought what I said was true."
