39 - Venom

PS: I couldn't make out some parts of the dialogue so I just skipped those.

Red was in the middle of stretching when Raziel walked silently toward them, looking both at the redhead and at Izuku.

"Hey kids, mind if I talk to you a few minutes?" 

The Pro-Heroes tensed when they felt the atmosphere shift and both Dabi and Denki glanced up at the deity. 

The siblings, who were feeling off since they first noticed Raziel behaving weirdly, nodded tensely. 

"Yeah."

"Sure." 

The two Christmas themed teenagers (what, red and green are Christmas colours and I keep thinking about it every time I think about their hair colours) followed the deity outside of the room, avoiding the curious looks.

Nobody would know what they talked about but when those three came back in the Viewing Room, Red and Izuku were tense. 

Knowing that the event you were dreading would come to happen as soon as you were back in your world could do that to one. While Raziel did not say what it was, the siblings knew; L'Envol had been expecting an upcoming attack from Dragon for a while now. It made sense that the Supervillain would attack when all of his preys were reunited in one place. The NYC's Headquarters was a Home for the agents (and the civilians rescued in the past with nowhere to go) but it was also shining like a beacon for insane psychopaths like Dragon. All of his favourites playthings, all in one place (That and the fact that L'Envol had always been a thorn in Dragon's feet). Red and Izuku were not the only agents who had ran into the villain at one point or another. It was only a matter of time before it happened. 

To be fair, they had been waiting for this. That's why Red and Izuku were still in America even when it had become obvious that Dragon was not going to hunt them down more than he had when he had sent his ninja after them and forced them to leave Japan a mere week after the Kamino Events. 

When the kid cuddled up to him again, Dabi frowned as he felt his small body tremble slightly. Yeah. That feeling of dread came back in full but instead of saying anything that could make things worse Slight tremors shook the green-haired teen's body and the fire user briefly closed his eyes. 

Yeah, there was no denying he cared about the small teen in his arms. The kid sniffled and squirmed until his face was buried against Dabi's neck, breathing shakily and scent marking the villain. 

The good thing about all of this, Red thought, was that thanks to Maponus, they were both healed enough to be in good fighting conditions.

Raziel too was tense. they were rather fond of the teens and they knew that the siblings were going to get hurt once they were back in their world. 

The deity clapped their hands together.

"Heads up, everyone. I'm going to release you after this universe," they said, raising a hand when protests came from the students and some pro-heroes/villains. "Now, now. We're going to invite you back here, next month but some of you really need to get going in the... next few minutes in your world." 

Oh yeah, Denki thought. That's right. Time passed differently here than in their world. Barely a couple of minutes must have passed in their world. 

"Okay, we're going to watch the last universe of the day, then. I mean, for you two," the deity said, looking at the siblings.
