It was normal for Kira to have fans. So having fangirls was no surprise for her. One of her favourite interactions with the fans would have to be when they have fan meets. Just being surrounded by people who not only love and support them but also look up to them just makes her heart swell with joy. One time, when they were at one of their fan meet-and-greets, she had the sweetest, most heartwarming fan interaction.
"Hi, my name is Mia" the soft voice called out, capturing Kira's attention. She looked at the little girl in front of her. "Hi there, how old are you?" Kira smiled, listening intently to the 13-year-old girl. As they continued to discuss things, Kira couldn't help but notice the girl being in slight discomfort. "Are you okay sweetheart?" she asked, worried for the petite girl. "Um, I just- I came here because I wanted to thank you!" The girl blurted out, her cheeks flushing a bright pink.
"What do you want to thank me for?" Kira asked, smiling warmly at the girl. The girl looked up at Kira, her doe eyes widening as she spoke quietly. "I was sick for a long time, but when I met you and BTS, I started getting better, you helped me a lot..." She smiled. "How did I help you fight an illness?" Kira asked, a smile still on her face, confusion in her eyes. The little sniffled, wiping tears off her cheeks. "Oh sweetie, don't cry. Can we have some tissues please!?" Kira called to one of the staff as she looked at the little girl who continued to speak.
"I struggled a lot with my weight and body image. I was in and out of hospitals and had severe eating issues. I was really depressed until I watched you all perform on stage. Listening to you talk about how girls around the globe are constantly put under pressure to look and act a certain way really helped me understand that I was just putting myself through unnecessary pain. When you said that every girl is stunning in her own way and that you support every single person in the world who is or was going through a hard time, I felt as though I had someone supporting me through my pain. Thank you..." She cried, hiding her face behind her hair.
Kira gasped, getting up from her seat and walking around the desk, pulling the girl into a bone-crushing hug, slightly crying herself. "Oh honey, you are so strong. I will always support my fans, and I can tell you without a single ounce of doubt that you are by far one of the most gorgeous humans I've ever met. It's okay to feel this way, but what makes you so strong is how you were able to overcome this pain. I will always support you and other girls." Kira smiled teary-eyed at the little girl, wiping the tears off the little girl's face as she giggled wetly.
After they had finished, Kira wished the girl good luck and good health, seeing her walk away before sighing. Once the fan meeting had ended, they all made their way back home. As soon as they stepped into the house, Kira broke down. She had never felt that touched and emotional as she had at that moment. Hearing about how she had helped that girl get through her issues made Kira feel as though she had made a difference; no matter how small, she had helped someone. She would never forget littleMia, and to this day she still replies to her Instagram DM's.
