Kira and Solar first met through mutual friends they had. They had met during a group dinner and had immediately kicked it off. Solar described it as 'One of the most amazing conversations I have ever had, and she even went on to say about how she even had a crush on Kira when they first met. Even though Kira is younger than Solar, they do not act that way, considering they both have their mature and baby moments when with one another.

Kira had always been a fan of Seventeen since they debuted, so when she first met them at the Seoul Music Awards, she was shocked. They all got along, making fun banter and getting to know one another. It wasn't until Kira met her Bias, Wonwoo, did she freeze up.

Wonwoo spoke about their first encounter, saying they are practically attached to the hip now, but he found it cute and very amusing when she first tried talking to him. He mentioned how sweet and shy she was at first but how comfortable she is with him now. They are best friends now and are happy spending time together, making even the members feel happy and okay with her hanging out with him.
