Piper was content for the first time in as long as she could remember. It was finally over- the threat of Gaea was gone. No more giants, no more titans, no more angry Romans... well that wasn't completely true. She knew Frank could get pretty grumpy after losing a game of capture the flag. But for once, Piper's life was looking bright. She had time to spend with her fitness that wasn't fighting monsters, and she had the perfect boyfriend to mess around with everyday.
Piper struggled to open her eyes as she heard a knock on the door of the Aphrodite Cabin. She took a glance out the window, and saw that it was still dark outside. She glanced at the beds of her half-siblings, but none of them seemed to be awake. "Are you decent in there beauty queen?" Came a voice from outside the cabin. She groaned, recognising the voice as belonging to one of her best friends: Leo Valdez. Which meant he was probably here for her, meaning that she probably needed to get up and see what he wanted. Piper quickly pulled an orange Camp Half-Blood shirt over her bra and headed out, confused as to why Leo of all people was up so early.
Piper was greeted to the sight of Leo Valdez's grin as he gave her a look over. "What are you smiling at?" She asked him grumpily, to which he replied in an annoyingly high pitched voice: "What are you wearing?" She looked down, and her face immediately flushed red. She had forgotten to change out of her flashy power ranges pyjama shorts, which were a gift from her dad from way back before she started going to the Wilderness School. "Shut up Valdez," replied Piper nonchalantly, badly attempting to hide her obvious embarrassment.
"Why did you wake me up so early anyway Leo?" Piper asked the curly-haired Hispanic boy. "You really don't remember?" He replied, clearly happy that she was oblivious as to why he was doing all of this. Don't remember what?" Replied Piper, annoyed that Leo wasn't answering her questions. "You'll see." Said Leo, basking in Piper's exasperation at his answers.
Piper followed Leo through the woods, instantly regretting her choice of clothing as her mostly bare legs felt the chills of the early morning wind. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY PIPES!" Came a strangely familiar voice from somewhere behind the trees. Piper turned around quickly, and noticed a crowd of teenagers, including her boyfriend Jason as well as her friends Annabeth, Percy, Nico and way more. "I... I had no idea it was my birthday." Piper stuttered, to which Jason just laughed and kissed her. At first Piper was shocked, but then she leaned in to it until Connor Stoll shouted "Get a room, geez!"
Jason just chuckled and pushed her into a massive group hug with all her friends. "Ok ok guys." Said Leo after a couple seconds of hugging. "Give the girl some room."
"Alright everyone, we should probably get back to camp before Chiron starts getting worried." Said Annabeth, receiving groans from Piper's friends in response, but they slowly began walking back to camp. Well, except for Jason and Piper. As soon as the others were out of sight, Piper sighed and asked Jason whether all of this was his idea. "Of course it was Pipes," he replied. "Now shut up and kiss me." Jason pinned Piper against a tree nearby and started kissing her. After they made out for a bit, Jason took a breath and laughed. "What are you wearing Piper?" He asked. Piper chose to ignore him, and took his hand, leading him back to camp. "We have to shower quickly if we don't want to miss breakfast." She said.
"Together?" Replied Jason playfully. "Always the joker aren't you Jace," Piper replied calmly as they split up to head to their separate cabins. The Aphrodite cabin was as silent as it was when Piper woke up. Everyone was fast asleep, except for one Japanese-American girl with a mean streak a mile wide.
"Uh Drew, what are you doing?" asked Piper, trying not to be blunt. Drew was doing push ups on a bright pink yoga mat. "Working out, what do you think?" Replied Drew between breaths. "Not anymore, anyway." Drew continued, standing up and rolling up her mat. Piper's attention immediately went to what Drew was wearing, which was... well not much. She was wearing a tight black sports bra with a pair of tiny white shorts. Piper's bisexuality was screaming, but Piper forced herself to think of Jason, looking away from Drew. Drew seemed to notice Piper's discomfort, and promptly pulled her sports bra off. Piper took a quick glance behind her, and put her hand over her mouth in shock. "Drew... why are you shirtless?!" She shouted out, finding herself unable to look away. Drew just smirked, still shirtless. "Woah stop shouting so loud Pipes, you'll wake everyone up." Piper was about to make a comment about Drew using her nickname, when she realised her mouth was wide open and that she was openly staring at Drew's bare torso. "Drewwww!" Piper squealed, feeling as if she was about to drown in her own discomfort . "Alright alright," said Drew, thriving in Piper's embarrassment. To Piper's great relief, Drew finally pulled on a bra and an orange Camp Haf-Blood crop top.
"Come on Pipes, don't wanna miss breakfast do we." she said, winking at Piper as she strutted out of the cabin.
