I made my escape the moment I knew how.
I hear the whispers of my husband. I hear him calling for me. It was time.
I need to make sure. I need to see whether they were alright.
I followed the faintest essences of both; their connection with the Peletokan is strong. They connected me to those of my ancestors, and new warriors each with their own story; all remanded in perfect bliss. They were at peace.
I could feel it calling...but I cannot go. I have not finished my search. I need to find them.
I made this my new mission.
And then I found him.
But it was too late.
It was once a chill, but now he has grown so cold. He had indeed become powerful, but in his heart...he was suffering.
I heard the names he cried out as he trained...who knows where he obtained such secrets, such...obscene powers.
Momin.
Plagueis.
I had tried to reach out but was stopped by some sort of...force.
I could not go any further.
First, there was silence. Then, the sound of glass shattering and a scream which my heart leap.
I knew it was him.
And then there was nothing.
It was him. I felt it.
I had reached out and held his hand. I sensed his light...his duty, his love for his new family, his work to ensure that his herd were safe. I sensed his struggle...the same cold. But it was different. He had accepted it and kept it at bay. He drew strength from it, and also managed to overcome. He operated in balance, in perfect harmony.
The robed men spoke true. He had grown very powerful. I was so proud.
His eyes resemble his father's.
I also saw the truth.
I had so much to share, of our people, and of our way, but there was little time left. He needed me.
He needed us.
