I've been hiding something from you

Sonic and the Secret Scrolls

Sonic was at the Great Forest dashing along in a clearing. Ahead of him, he was Bunnie and Tails trying to flag him down. In a panic, he tried to slow down and stopped right in front of the two.

"Whoa! What's up, guys?" Sonic asked.

"We have a surprise for you, Sonic." Tails said and took out a handkerchief and walked over to Sonic, covering his eyes with it.

"Cool! I love surprises."

"That's good cuz this one's gonna put you right up on cloud nine, sugar-hog." Bunnie said and giggled as Tails helped lead the blindfolded Sonic.

A few minutes later they were at Great Forest and Sonic was still being led along by Bunnie and Tails. Sonic getting impatient.

"Are we there yet? I hate going this slow. Boring!" he said.

"Almost there, sugar." Bunnie said as they passed through a long grass bush.

"We're here, Sonic." Tails said.

"So what's the big surprise?" Sonic asked and Bunnie took off the handkerchief.

"Ta-da!" everyone said.

Sonic looked on as he saw Antoine, Sally and Rotor standing near a large propeller plane.

"Oh. Where'd that come from?" Sonic asked and walked over to take a closer look while Tails and Bunnie joined the others.

"We built it from scratch." Rotor said.

"Sonic, isn't it past cool?" Tails asked.

"Yes, yes; way past cruel." Antoine said.

Sonic was still surprised at the sight of the plane.

"We call it the Freedom Stormer." Sally said.

"Huh? It's...really great." Sonic said getting confused.

"We're flying it to Maga to look for the Secret Scrolls."

"What's a "Maga"?" he asked scratching his head.

"It's an ancient city hidden deep in the Great Mountains." Sally said.

"So, um, what's a secret scroll?" Sonic asked.

"My father told me the scrolls had great powers, but that no one has been able to find them."

"Sure. That's why they're called "secret" scrolls."

"Well, I think we can find them."

"And you're gonna fly there in that air jalopy?" Sonic said.

"You can only see Maga from the air...and it's not a jalopy." she said and took out Nicole, opening the device up. "Nicole, boot up the map of Maga."

Nicole beeped, activating, many buttons lighting up

"Accessing, Sally..." she said and emitted a spherical holographic display, showing the Great Mountains.

It put a red dot on one of the central mountains with buildings on it.

"This is Maga. I really researched this and found these markers. They'll lead us straight to the temple where the scrolls are."

"Plan won't fly, Sal." Sonic said still unconvinced.

'Use the van gladly.' he thought.

"Yes, it will." Sally said.

"No way."

"Won't."

"Will!"

"Won't!"
