It had only been a few days since they had their encounter at the market. Since then Odalia had learned that Alador was in severe need of structure in his life. They had tried making plans to meet up in school but she could never seem to find him and he kept forgetting to meet with her. She did not hold it against him though. Alador was a free spirit whose mind was in constant motion. It’s what made his mind so wonderful. But still she needed something to tether him to the here and now and that's where she came in.

If they wanted to move forward they would need to work together. Having some semblance of structure would help them advance in their plans. If they played to their strengths they would make an unstoppable team. First things first though she had to make sure to stay close to Alador at all times so she would not lose track of him.

In order to do this she decided to start picking up Alador at his house so they could walk to school together. This quickly turned into more of establishing a morning routine for him. The first time she had gone to pick him up she learned how much of a heavy sleeper Alador was.  She had spent fifteen solid minutes knocking on his bedroom window before giving up and picking the lock to the front door. Even then once she made it inside he still would not wake up.

He had fallen asleep at his desk covered in abomination goop. Normally the entire scene would have made her very concerned about his well being. With how deeply he was sleeping it almost gave the impression that he was dead, that is if you could ignore the loud snoring.

She tried shaking him awake and even yelling in his ear but nothing seemed to wake him. She was finally able to wake him up by pushing him out of his seat. Not the most refined way to do things but it got the job done. She would have to figure out a more effective way to wake him in the future.

After that first day she got a spare key from him and during the weekend she tried different ways to wake him up. At the moment she had yet to figure out a more effective way.

This morning would be the first where the two would be walking to school together. When she entered the home she was met by a small abomination cleaning the living room. It was about a foot shorter than her and it was wearing an apron. The creature did not seem to acknowledge her presence and just kept on cleaning.  She had to admit the house did look spotless.

"That's very interesting," she noted before heading to Alador’s bedroom. When she opened the door she found that this time he had actually fallen asleep on his bed but he was once again covered in abomination goop.

"Oh Alador what am I going to do with you?" she said as she sighed. "Come on, Alador, you have to wake up and get ready for school. Oh and what's with the abomination in the living room?"

Alador shot upright in response to her last question. He quickly got up, spun her around and pushed her out of his room and into the living room.

Odalia did not object; she just went along with it. She had learned this was how Alador acted when he was excited to show her something. This time she could guess what it was as soon as they arrived in the living room.

"The Abomibutler" he said in his usual monotone voice though there was a hint of pride in his eyes which Odalia always liked seeing. "Now we don't have to clean it will do it for us, it will always keep its shape, and it only takes a bit of magic to get it going so anyone can use it. It doesn't do laundry or cook yet though."

After that  first day that Odalia had made Alador clean the house he realized two things. First that she would definitely make him clean again and secondly and most importantly how much he hated to clean.

So he took it upon himself to create an abomination that would be in charge of cleaning the house for him. The best part was that he got to use the new tools he got to make it. To him it felt like a win win.
