A large grin is sketched out on my face, which would be considered very out of place during this serious conversation if I was actually visible by everyone else. My physical appearance cannot be seen by anyone in this room, not counting Scott, who could easily switch on his wolf eyes. However, Scott and Stiles can hear me now. That right there gives me hope that , one day, Stiles will be able to see me as well.
I need Stiles to be able to see me.
Stiles animatedly waves his hands in the air as he tells his dad about the most recent murders. Scott and Stiles decided that it was time to tell Mr. Stilinski about the deadpool. This whole thing has started to fall out of our hands. Well, I guess it was never really in my hands to begin with. These assassins are killing more people than we are used to dealing with. We need someone on the inside that can help us figure out how they had died.
"It's a deadpool." Scott finally throws the real name out for it. "A hit list of supernatural creatures. This is only part of it. The rest still has to be decoded."
"Who found the list?" Mr. Stilisnki questions.
"My homegirl, Lydia." I nonchalantly answer, so used to actually not being heard when I talk out loud.
Stiles snickers and quickly covers it with a cough, as if that would make it sound normal. "Um," His eyes flick around the room, like he's trying to figure out where I would be. "Lydia did."
His dad raises his eyebrows at him, probably trying to understand his son's weird behavior. "How?" He reverts back to the serious conversation on hand.
I beam at my boyfriend. Wow. This not only great that he can hear me, but this is going to be so much fun messing with him. I jump down from where I was sitting along the wall to the desk that they are all surrounding with the deadpool on top.
"She wrote it. Actually, she transcribed it, without realizing it." Stiles clarifies.
"Banshee?"
"Banshee."
"Beautiful." Mr. Stilinski makes a face. "Alright, what are these numbers next to the names?"
Stiles holds up a hand. "We're getting to that. First, you need to know that the code was broken with a cipher key."
"Wait." Mr. Stilinski looks between the two boys. "You mean, like a- like a keyword?"
"It's actually a name."
Scott looks up from the desk, swallowing. "Allison."
I rush to his side, carefully placing my hand on his arm. I wait for him to jump at my touch, but he relaxes when he figures out it's me. "Hey, don't be upset, Scotty. Allison is doing just fine over here. You know, she's always going to love you, but I've slowly convinced her to start shipping Scira."
"What?" Scott asks, furrowing his eyebrows.
I glance at everyone else to see Mr. Stilinski giving Scott a confused look. Stiles is just listening to my voice as intently as he can, trying to place where I would be standing. Surprisingly, his eyes land right on me. He's getting better at this. "I do see others on this side, Scott. I've met and seen them all. And, I'll explain shipping to you later, but, right now, Mr. Stilinski is staring at you, like you have three heads."
Scott clears his throat, awkwardly. He runs his other hand up his arm until he finds mine. Scott shakes it off without another word. I cross my arms over my chest.
"Her name broke a third of the list." Stiles continues on.
"And, now we think there's two other cipher keys." Scott falls back into the conversation.
