Stiles tugs on my hand, stopping me from entering the hospital room that we were all headed into. Everyone walks past us and into the room without a second look back. I spin around to face Stiles, curious to know why he stopped me.
Stiles other hand falls down to my waist to gently push my back against the wall. "You- You don't leave my side, okay?" His eyes are full of nothing but worry. Ever since I came back to life- for the second time- Stiles has been clinging to me like a koala bear; always touching me in some way, keeping me in his line of vision, constantly worried that I'll die for good.
"Hey," I pull him closer by wrapping my arm around his neck into a quick hug. "I'm not going anywhere. I'm sorry I scared you the other night. The virus got to me and I shouldn't have taken off by myself."
Stiles breathes in deepily against my shoulder. "I can't lose you."
I press my lips to his cheek, lingering for a few seconds longer. I pull back, staring into his hazel eyes. "You won't. I'm not going anywhere."
Without saying another word, Stiles yanks me back into his chest. Instinctively, my arms snake around his torso, fingers digging into his sides, just as afraid as he is. I wouldn't dare admit it to Stiles, but I'm worried at just what I am capable. Allison explained most of it, but even she didn't understand the full thing. I just have bits and parts of other supernatural creatures in me and I'm basically immortal.
Stiles clings onto me, like he has no intention of ever releasing me from his hold. He'd never admit it to anyone, but he's absolutely terrified. He's already lost his mom. He lost me twice. Stiles is scared to lose anyone else.
"Stiles," I whisper his name against his chest. "We need to get busy."
"Is three enough?"
I look around the dining room table in the McCall House. This plan sounds absolutely ridiculous, but it is the only plan we have. Three laptops lay on top of the table in preparation for what we have planned. After we leave here, we are all headed to the hospital.
Stiles shrugs and his arm brushes up against mine. "Depends on how many cameras they have, but I think so."
Liam nervously glances around at all of us at the table. From the looks of it, he seems to be doubting our crazy plan and I, honestly, do not blame him at all. "Are we really doing this?"
"We're doing it. Tonight." Scott nods his head.
"But, isn't it kind of dangerous?"
I raise a brow at the question. I motion to everyone at the table, except for Liam, "I'm sorry, do you know who we are? Everything we ever do is dangerous."
Stiles gives me a small smile before saying, "It's incredibly dangerous and borderline idiotic."
"Have you guys done something like this before?" Liam uneasily shifts on his feet. He looks at each of us with a look of worry.
Stiles' eyes squint at the question. "Something dangerous?"
"Or something idiotic?" I purse my lips, expecting Liam to specify on what he means. The correct answer to either of those questions is yes. Honestly, like I said before, all this group does is dangerous things. "Do I need to remind you, Liam, that I have died twice already?"
Liam's jaw falls slack. It actually kind of looks like Liam did forget that I have died twice. Okay, well, the second time, I didn't really die. My body just shut down, which resembled death a lot to allow it to heal after being shot in the head with a gun.
