"Mama"

"What is it lovely" she asked not looking up from what she was doing

You let out a huff before going up to your room To play with your toys.

"Hey lovebug" your mom greeted a few minutes later from the door way

You ignored her. She got the gists you were obviously upset about something

"What is wrong baby?" She asked softly sitting on the floor by you

"I'm not a baby" you told her sternly

"You are too...your my little babygirl" she told you

"No im not" you said and she gasped pretend to be offended

"Ouch mummy's heart" you fake cried bring a hand to her chest

"Stop it your faking" you smiled at her walking toward her

"I'm not it's real" she continued to pretend to cry. Your smiled dropped think you actually hurt her feelings

"I'm sorry mommy... dont cry" you cooed at you mom crawling into her lap hugging her tightly

She smiled at your innocence wrapping her arms around you tightly

"See you are my little baby" she cooed kissing your head

"I'm not little anymore"

"We'll you'll always be my baby" she said not wanting to hear it

You cuddled into her chest playing with the ends of her hair gently. She smiled widely this was always something you did as a small toddler and baby. Simply reminding her of how sweet you were. How little. How much you needed her. As a baby all you needed was her. And all you wanted was her. Obviously like any thing that slowly involved over time.

The thought soon started to make her sad. You were growing more independent by the day. Soon you wouldn't really need her anymore. The thought made her sick to her stomach

"You promise to always be my baby little one?" You said quietly. Almost so quiet she was afraid for a moment that you didn't hear her.

"Yes mommy. I promise"
