"𝓨—ou do know that by the time we get there all traces of sunlight will be gone, don't you?" Senku questioned the ditsy woman as he walked past. "Sydney's about nine hours away from here." Hell, he wasn't even sure he had the tolerance to be stuck in a car with her for nine hours but he couldn't back down now.
"I know." [Y/n] assured. "Which is why it would have been best if we had left when I first proposed the idea. But someone insisted on acting all high and mighty—waiting until the very last minute."
Senku didn't respond. He just gave [Y/n] an agitated look and stayed silent. He felt like she was discretely throwing shade at him, except it wasn't discreet at all. It was almost as though she was undermining his intelligence or something.
"Something wrong?" [Y/n] questioned since he was looking at her all weird.
"Nothing." He unlocked the doors to his rental and made his way over to the driver's seat. Women were known to be petty, so he'd be a man and let it slide.
