THE ROYAL PALACE

Vaisey prided himself on a lot throughout his life, especially how he managed to get out of every sticky situation once the thorn in his side - Robin Hood - appeared back from the Holy Lands causing trouble. He had always been the brains of the operation, one step ahead. Even once his right-hand-man he molded up from the slums of nothing and took under his wing had turned his back on him, Vaisey managed to make it through.

It wasn't hard playing dead with the fact the leper Guy had fallen for surprised them both with her action. Luckily, the damage she or the Knight had inflicted was not fatal. That didn't excuse the fact it still stung like a wasp.

However, once the guards came to collect his body and carried him away to be dumped with the others, Vaisey gave them quite a surprise, threatening them to take care of him right away or else they would join the corpses with no return. This was the plan now: Have these lousy guards heal his wounds and return back to Prince John in order to become Sheriff again, bring an army down on Nottingham and purge Hood out.

It didn't take him long to make a recovery and once he got word the Prince was heading back to London, Vaisey was quick to catch him, begging for another chance, which he accepted for the amusement of seeing how this would go. However, when news arrived at the palace of the Gisborne's betrayal, Prince John was furious, to no surprise of Vaisey who expected this.

"THIS IS THE LAST TIME HOOD EVADES ME LIKE THIS!" Prince John shouted. "I want him and the Gisborne's heads! Go to Nottingham and do what you will, as long as you do that."

A vile, toothy grin came to Vaisey's face. "Yes, your royal highness."

This would finally be the end of the legend, once and for all, and Vaisey was happy to get revenge, hoping for a good fight with his enemies.

SHERWOOD FOREST

A COUPLE DAYS LATER

Marian and Robin had just returned back to the camp in the morning light, seeing everyone else was up and preparing breakfast except for Katherine and Guy. It had been a strange and tense couple of days, mostly because the rest of the gang wasn't comfortable with having the Knight here, but he had proved himself in the couple of days.

Seeing the look on the brunette's face, Isabella gave a knowing smile to the couple, standing next to the others as she helped make the fire. "If you're wondering where they are: they went out to do the same as you both."

"Honey." Much said, recalling the usual word the gang used when one of them went to do couple things . "That typical euphemism."

The growing and embarrassing look of realization on Robin and Marian's face only spoke volumes as some of the gang smiled in amusement and the others gave disgusted faces, not wanting to know of such a detail. "Now, I can't get the image out of my head." Allan mumbled, causing everyone's eyes to land on him, shaking their heads.
