The next day

Kiyomi breathed out a sigh as she held the elephant watering cup. The sage words of Baji reminisced through the circuits of her brain like a mantra.

"So, didn't you want to change?"

She crouched down towards the freshly watered florals and gently brushed her gloved palms against its foliage, a tranquil flicker of light glazed her eyes.

"No matter how much I change my appearance, I doubt anything about me will actually change from how it was then..."

"No that's not it at all! No way thanks~"
She protested with herself in falsetto manner as a flowery aura bloomed behind her.
Who was she to talk down on herself like that?

"..." She remained still with a smile as she waited for her other self to say something to contradict, but she was met with silence which further proved her second point.

A thud brought her back from la la land as she jolted awake from her self parley. She rapidly twisted her body with speed that she never knew of.

"Baji-kun?! You're already here..." She yelped with a flustered expression, from being caught talking to herself.

But rather than being met with that meek, four-eyed, slick back haired megane, she was met with the petrifying sight of three delinquents side-by-side.

"Nah, you're four-eyes isn't here right now." The tallest, seemingly the ring leader, taunted as he stood smugly in the middle with his hands in his pockets.

The one on his left giggled like a high school girl whilst the one on his right remained on that damn phone.

"You gonna go look for him?"
"So annoying!"
They further mocked, apparently with no life.
