Private Concert

Luz P.O.V

Gus finishes tuning when it seems like Boscha remembered something, "Amity, your doing vocal today, remember we decided on it?" Amity nods and unplugs her guitar "Luz would you mind holding this for a second?" "I don't mind" she hands her guitar to me and all I can do is stare at it, knowing this guitar was played by Amity fucking Blight.

"Boscha, here's the spare" I look up and Amity is getting one of the guitars off the wall and handing it to Boscha. She heads over and takes the guitar and picks, plugs it in and starts tuning "hand me my guitar" I look back at Amity and hand her the guitar and she walks off with it to the back. I look back at the others and their looking at me wide eyed.

"What? Is there something on my face?" they stay silent and Willow looks in Amity's direction then back at me "she doesn't let anyone touch her guitar, not even us. I'm impressed she let you hold it" I look over at Amity and see her putting it away in a hard case, not like the one Gus has or the spare ones have.

Willow heads back over to the drum set and Amity walks back over and adjusts the mic to her liking. "Luz can you dim the lights, and Willow try not to count us in to fast this time, Boscha, Gus don't play to fast but not to slow either" I get up, hit 'record' and lower the light level and Amity gives me a thumbs up. "One, two, three, four!" Boscha, Gus and Willow start then Amity joins in "Now that I gotta taste I think that I'd suffocate for every second that you aren't by my side."

I'm watching in awe as I'm getting to watch them play in person and since it's only me, it's basically a private concert. But I'm, as always, mostly drawn to Amity. I'm fixated on her and her singing to the point where I blanked out the others somehow at some point. But before I know it, they are coming to the end of the song and wrapping up.

"We did it, we finally did a clean cover for it!" Boscha happily says this but Amity looks disappointed "yes, but, we never hit record" "damn it!" Boscha get's frustrated and looks about ready to punch a wall but I step in before this escalates "guys, calm down. I hit record before you started" the four of them look at me and their faces light up.

"You did?!" "Yeah, I assumed you'd want to at least have the trial run so you'd know what to fix" the four of them set their instruments down and head over to me but Amity stays behind the others and looks at me "Luz, that means a lot that you did that and now we have the cover of it done" Willow says this giving me a hug after, but that's when Amity gets a hold of my wrist and pulls me aside.

"Thanks, Luz, what you did seriously means a lot. We've been at that cover for about a month now and all because of you we finally got it. Again thank you" she also pulls me into a hug but this one lasts a little longer then the one from Willow and soon my face heats up. "Want to come to dinner with us? Don't worry it's Boscha's turn to pay" she snickers a little at that and looks at me waiting for my answer.

"Sure, I just have to let my mom know or she'll worry" Amity nods but as I'm walking off she taps my shoulder "if you ever want to learn how to play, call or text me and I'll gladly teach you" she gives me a smile and I just awkwardly smile back blushing some more. I then turn on my heal to grab my phone to text my mom to let her know.

~~Later at Dinner~~

"Ha! Bet" I'm watching as Boscha asks for the spiciest sauce and poor's some on her side plate. "Watch, I can totally do this" Willow just rolls her eyes at her "last time you did this you ended up throwing up in the bathroom" Boscha just scoffs "no I didn't" "yes you did, remember. I held your hair back."

Boscha soon pushes the plate away and continues eating not to mention pouting as well because she just lost five bucks to Gus. Amity is laughing at the childish behavior between them and I'm doing a sketch of her on a napkin with a pencil I always bring with me. "Luz, do you mind passing the salt?" I look up from what I'm doing and pass the salt over to Willow.

I'm soon lost in my own world drawing away when I feel someone watching. I look over and of course it's Amity, "your pretty talented Luz" I can feel my face flush red with embarrassment and I soon cover it up. "Anyway, what you offered earlier with learning guitar, I wouldn't mind learning" she looks up at me with the sweetest smile and nods "can you swing by tomorrow? I'm free then."

"Yeah defiantly. I can also stay as long as you need me since it is Friday" Amity gives a soft smile at that before she tells me something else "the only thing I want in return is to see some of your drawings, also stop covering them all the time, their really good" Amity grins at me and I can only nod since my favorite person ever after my mom just said my drawings were good.

I'm about to continue when we get interrupted by someone walking up to our table "hey Luzer" I look at her trying to ignore her comment. "Yes?" "How's the torn drawing?" she says this sarcastically since she very well knows that I couldn't fix it. "That was you?" Amity questions her remembering earlier with my drawing ripped.

"Yeah, of course why wouldn't it be me. That so called 'band' sucks, their also all freaks. Just. Like. Luzer." she glares me down as she says this and to my surprise Amity sticks up for me. "First off, look who your talking to. Second, Luz is far, Far. From a loser!" Amity growls out at the girl with her hands on the table making herself intimidating for her smaller size.

"O-oh uh A-amity I uh was just leaving um see you at school Luz!" she backs away and speed walks away, Amity sits down satisfied with the results and goes back to eating. "Wow, Amity, your protective" "Boscha, your pushing it" Boscha snaps her mouth shut and looks down before grabbing her wallet and getting out money to pay.

~~After Paying~~

The five of us walk out and Boscha, Gus and Willow head to their cars waving to us before they drive off. "Luz, it was nice meeting you today." Amity smiles at me "Also, I want to see you at the studio tomorrow. Bring some paper, you have to pay your end." she quirks a brow at me and crosses her arms, "yeah, yeah I know you want to watch me draw" Amity laughs and bumps my arm "alright see you then Luz."
