How could Carlos be in need of me? The only thing he needs from me is forgiveness.

"What do you mean Carlos is in need of me?" I say loudly.

" Well he has no family and according to this file you are the only reference." the nurse says.

" I'm not stupid I knew that." I snapped.

" You need to calm down." she says in a soothing voice.

"I'm not going to calm down until you tell me what is going on. I say.

The nurse takes a deep breath and says " Well.. I will tell you all the information I know." She continues and says " Last night it was clarified that Carlos had a little too much to drink. He actually had a dangerous amount of alcohol. I guess he left his drink unattended and someone must have poisoned it or something. If he hadn't come here on time he could have died. "

I start to think of last night when Sabrina put something in Carlos's drink. She poisoned him. A tear falls down my cheek. I didn't even care about him. I should have stopped him from drinking it. I should have done something to prevent him from drinking the poison. I feel like this all my fault.

" Do you need a tissue?" the nurse says. I don't answer and she gives me one anyway.

" He's in critical condition now but he is allowed to have visitors. Would you like to see him?" she says.

" Yes" I say in a soft voice.

I follow her towards Carlos's room and there she is Sabrina. How could someone so pretty be so evil?

" Carlos, I don't know who could have done this. I'm sorry." she said in her girly voice. She is trying to act innocent but she doesn't fool me not even one bit.

" It's okay" he says.

They haven't seen that I have walked in yet. They are so blind.

" Do you have any idea who it could have been?" she says.

" Probably just some loca stranger looking for trouble" he says.

" I think it might I have been Ho.." she says but interrupt and say " Hey guys."

They both turn around shocked. I knew she would blame it on me. I should have slapped her but I didn't want to cause anymore trouble.

" Hey Hope. I was just leaving" she says.

When she walks out a man is standing in front of her not one but two and the sight of the two men make me smile. Carlos would finally see the person Sabrina really is.
