"Shiva tu pagal ho gaya hai? Kya kar raha hai?" Raavi shouted. "Yeh galat hai. Hum yeh nahi kar sakte."

"Raavi ab kya bakwaas kar rahi hai?"

"Shiva yeh galat hai. Main nahi kar sakti." She says down on the bed holding her head.

Shiva fixed his shirt and glared at her. "Saaf saaf bol kya bolna chahti hai."

All Raavi could feel was her heart thudding. "Yeh nahi hona chahiye tha. Hum... hum abhi ready nahi hai iske liye. Tu mujhe aise achanak se kiss nahi kar sakta."

Shiva was shocked to hear that. "Maine tujhe kiss kiya? Tu kya kehna chahti hai? Maine tujhe force kiya?"

"Main woh nahi keh rahi Shiva." Raavi said. "Humara rishta abhi aisa nahi hai."

"Toh kya hai humara rishta?" Shiva shouted. "Tu chahti kya hai mujhse? Mujhe clearly bata. Yeh jo tu baar baar bolti rehti hai ki tu shaadi ko chance dena chahti hai, iska kya matlab banta hai?"

Raavi felt her tears coming. "Waqt chahiye mujhe. Adjust kar rahi hu na tere saath. Pyaar ke bina shaadi karungi kabhi socha nahi tha. Aur ab dekh aise loveless relationship mein fas gayi hu. Takleef hoti hai mujhe."

"Takleef sirf tujhe hoti hai? Mujhe nahi? Shaadi mein adjustment sirf tu nahi main bhi kar raha hu. Meri marzi se bhi nahi hui thi shaadi. Jab tujhse pyaar hua, toh tune kaha tujhe pyaar nahi chahiye. Kya chahiye phir tujhe?"

"Main bas teri dost banke jeena chahti hu. Tu pyaar ko beech mein kyu la raha hai? Mera pyaar mujhe beech mandap chodke kisi aur ladki se shaadi karne nikal gaya. Aisa pyaar mujhe nahi chahiye. Hum dost hi thik hai."

Shiva wanted to bang her head against the wall. "Dost? Hum shaadishuda hai Raavi! Dosti aur shaadi mein fark hota hai. Sameer mera dost hai, Arjun mera dost hai, Sanjana meri dost hai. Tu... tu meri biwi hai. Tujhe dosti aur shaadi mein koi fark nahi dikhta? Arrey mujhe nahi chahiye aur dost."

"Mujhe pata hai kya fark hota hai aur maine tujhse kaha tha mujhse woh expectation mat rakhna. Main sirf dosti ke rishte se khush hu. Tere saath main comfortable feel karti hu Shiva aur main nahi chahti humara rishta badle. Main tere saath aise hi khush hu." Raavi said. "Please Shiva, abhi so jate hai aur kal wapas sab thik ho jayega."

"Nahi." Shiva said. "Mujhse nahi hoga. Jabse humari shaadi hui hai Raavi, main pagal ho chuka hu. Tujhe pankhe pe latakte dekhke meri jaan nikal gayi thi. Phir tujhse shaadi hui aur maine khud se vaada kiya tha ki tujhe khush rakhne ki koshish karunga. Yeh bhi accept kar liya ki tu mujhse pyaar nahi kar payegi. Par yeh jo tu bol ya kar rahi hai, yeh pagalpan hai. Kabhi mere paas aana, kabhi mujhse durr jana. Main nahi reh paunga aise tere saath."

"Shiva maine tujhse usi din kaha tha ki main tujhse pyaar nahi kar paungi." Raavi screamed.

"Mujhe tera pyaar nahi chahiye. Mujhe bas tera sach chahiye. Kya tu kabhi iss rishte ko dil se apna payegi ya nahi?"

She was really angry at this point. He was constantly asking her the same thing again and again, and she didn't want to discuss this matter any further. "Shiva iss rishte ko main accept kar chuki hu." Raavi said. "Par shaadi ka matlab sirf physical hona nahi hota. Woh jab hona hoga ho jayega. Tere touch ko bardasht karna seekh lungi. Main dosti se zyada tujhe iss rishte mein aur kuch nahi de sakti. Baar baar ek hi sawal karne se jawab nahi badlega. Pyaar mujhse hoga nahi toh tu bhi iss loveless marriage ko accept karle. Shaadi mein dono side se compromise karna hoga."

Shiva stood still for a moment. Then he stepped back from her. Shiva took his phone and went towards the door.

"Kaha ja raha hai?" Raavi asked.

"Main Arjun ke room sone ja raha hu." Shiva said and left the room.

Raavi gasped. He was making a big deal out of it. She was honest with him right now, and he decided to leave. Raavi groaned in frustration and got on the bed. Tomorrow she'd sort everything out with him. Married couple had disagreements and she could pacify him tomorrow. She tried to fall asleep but her flashing back to their kiss and subsequent argument.

The kiss was something else. It shook her to the core. His hands on her skin and his tongue exploring her mouth, it felt so good that it scared her. She didn't want to feel that way. Shiva should've respected her boundaries and not kiss her. She tried to sleep, but couldn't. The entire night, she kept tossing and turning in bed. When she finally got some sleep, it was already morning.

She'd gotten only an hour of sleep when she was woken up by some sounds. Waking up, she found Shiva packing his bags. He was looking as if he were ready to leave.

"Shiva tu bags kyu pack kar raha hai?" Raavi asked.

"Maine gaadi bulayi hai. Main wapas ghar chal raha hu. Tujhe chalna hai toh chal warna yahi reh." He said.

"Shiva hum kal jaane wale the. Abhi chale gaye toh humare friends kya sochenge?" Raavi asked.

"Unko jo sochna hai woh sochenge." Shiva said. "Waise bhi humara honeymoon spend karne ka koi matlab nahi banta."

"Shiva ek chote se jhagre ki wajah se tu-" Raavi saw the rage in Shiva's eyes and shut up.

She quickly went ahead and packed her own luggage. Shiva took both their bags and loaded it in the car. Raavi went to her friends and told them they were leaving. Sanjana and Garima were worried but she told them it was a family emergency. Shiva however, didn't play it nice. He didn't say goodbye to anyone. He just went and got into the car angrily.

They didn't talk the whole ride home. Raavi was mad at him for their sudden departure. They didn't even stop on the for food. The reached around the evening, and once they reached the whole family was surprised to see them because they came a day early. Shiva didn't speak to anyone. He straight went to his room.

Raavi answered their question by saying she wasn't feeling well that's why they returned home early. Dhara made them some tea. They sat with the family but the tension between them was too thick. Everyone could see there was something wrong between them. Raavi made small talk for sometime to distract everyone and her own self.

When they finally had dinner, Raavi went to her room to sleep. She decided she needed to talk to Shiva and sort this out. They had promised that they wouldn't fight in front of their family. They weren't fighting exactly but not talking this way was worse than fighting. Dhara di and Gaumbi were worried, she could tell.

She waited and waited, but Shiva didn't come and she gradually fell asleep.
