"Mr. Flen, sir! W- we've been expecting you!" a young mage guard nervously greets us as we walk up to the prison entrance.

"Please, Wil, call me Eltrod," I say for what feels like the hundredth time.

"Of course, Mr- I mean Eltrod," Wil corrects himself. "Well then, I'll lead you to the assassin's cell. This way, please."

"Are you sure we'll be able to mind-control this assassin?" Lucy whispers to me as we enter the prison.

"I dunno, it was your idea," I shrug. Lucy frowns.

"Eltrod, I'm not too sure if it'll work, now that I'm thinking it over again. I mean, he has GHOST abilities. Surely he'll be able to withstand mind control-" I silence Lucy by placing a finger on her lips.

"Hey, it'll be fine. Professor Cyrian's the best at mind control, probably even surpassing those at the Council. And besides," I gesture to my hands. "We still have the.....ahem.....more fun option."

Lucy manages a smile. "Have I ever told you that maybe you're a bit too violent?"

"Ever since we were kids," I reply. Lucy playfully hits my shoulder, laughing softly.

"H- hey, keep a professional appearance, c'mon," I say, laughing as well.

"Are you two done messing around?" Uris' annoyed voice rings out. Professor Cyrian was just looking at us in amusement, while Agiliso, Wil, and Raziel were looking off into the distance.

"Ahem.....yes, sorry," I say. "Let's go."

"Well, sir, here it is," Wil says. I stare at the huge steel door in front of me.

"So, this is the entrance to the assassin's cell, right?" I ask.

"It's a bit of a walk to get there, but yes, sir. This is the one," Wil confirms.

"Oi, you can't be here- oh, it's just you guys from Paranormal Academy," two heavily armored guards with assault rifles walk up to us.

"Oh hey guys," Wil greets. They both nod at him, before turning to speak to me.

"I s'pose you're here to see the prisoner," the one with red markings says.

"Yeah, we are."

"Alright then. Stand back will ya?" he makes sure we are all within a safe distance away from the door before placing his left hand on the door. His partner beside him does the same.

"Aperite!"

The door slowly creaks open, revealing a gloomy corridor. The two guards flick on their wrist-mounted flashlights and wave to us to follow them.

"I'm going to have to leave you here, I have to get back to my post," Wil says.

"Sure thing, thanks for accompanying us up to here," I say, shaking the young mage's hand.

"It wasn't a problem, sir!" he says.

"Hey, cut the formalities."

"S- sorry..."

"Well, see you around," I say, before following the rest of my colleagues down the corridor.
