"Mhm, this is really good," Taehyung said, taking in another mouthful. "Thanks, this was my grandma's favorite," You reached to get a plate for yourself and started indulging in the meal.

"I have a penthouse on the 63rd floor, you can visit anytime," Jungkook said, smiling brightly. "Although I have tours soon," he pouted. "It must be nice to have so many fans from around the world," you said.

"Most of them are very nice and amazing, but there are some sasaengs. One of them followed me all the way to my hotel room," Jungkook stated, making you gasp. "Gosh, I didn't know you were that popular," you said, snickering.

Everyone finished their meal and was now sitting on the living room couch. "The food was very delicious," Seokjin said, rubbing his belly. "Hyung, we should leave," Hoseok said. "We're invading their privacy.

"No, it's okay. You can stay for as long as you like," you offered. "All of us have work tomorrow. We better get going. Thank you for the meal," Yoongi smiled at you, wearing his coat that was lying at the end of the couch.

All of them bid goodbyes at you and Jimin before you closed the door. Jimin just shot you a glare before making his way upstairs, leaving you to just sneer at him.

You went to one of the rooms and switched on the television for some good Netflix. You wouldn't give a damn about what Jimin's up to. You weren't shy but you're not the one to make the first move.

You finished two episodes as you let another yawn. Closing the doors and checking the penthouse for the last time, you picked out a different set of pajamas before doing your night routine. You lied down and called your mom before drifting off to dreamland.

It was in the afternoon of the next day. You just finished lunch when your phone rang. You looked down at the screen as the name 'Eomoni' popped up. Jimin's mom had called you. "Hello, Good afternoon eomoni," you greeted.

"Good afternoon, Y/N-ah!" she exclaimed, her voice set in a friendly tone. "How have you been?" "I've been well, how are you and abeoji?" you said through the line. "We've been good as well".

You were talking about your daily lives and her ranting on Jimin's dad which made you chuckle from time to time when something popped up in your head. "Eomoni, when I moved in there was a whole closet of clothes and accessories! I really like them but you didn't have to-"

"No problem, I was not the one who bought them anyway, my son paid. I thought it would be nice for you to have lots of clothes and expensive things since you are my Jiminie's wife. I'm happy you like them, dear".

"Uh- I see, thank you very much, eomoni!" "You're welcome sweetheart," Jimin's mom responded, happy that she could do this much for her new daughter-in-law.

You and she talked for a little more when you heard another phone ring through the line. "Oh- it's my dermatologist," she said, her voice getting distant. "I need to hang up now, dear. It was nice talking to you. See you, love," she said.

"Yes, Eomoni. Don't skip meals and take care of yourself. Bye," you said, hanging up. 'She's a really nice person,' you thought, chugging down a large glass of water down your dry throat.

You were bored sitting in the humongous penthouse all day and Jimin didn't come home till very late evening so you decided to go for a walk and explore around Checkmate Residence.

Putting on some decent clothes, you walked out of your penthouse and pressed '1' in the elevator. This one did not have glass walls, unlike the one you boarded for the first time.

The doors of the elevator opened to reveal a familiar sitting area that surrounded an incredible water fountain. There were many people enjoying the bright afternoon with friends and family, sipping on coffee.

You took a few pictures of the fountain as you made your way towards a door on the right that said 'GYM' in big, bold letters. Like most people, you don't like working out so you opened the door and closed it immediately.

The gym was huge and had a lot of different machines. However, there weren't a lot of people. You had a gym in your penthouse but it wasn't that big. Just basic gym appliances.

You then walked into the swimming pool room. It had the biggest swimming place you had ever seen. Few people were swimming, others just dipping their legs in the water and chatting. You weren't in any mood for swimming either.

Walking outside, you noticed a garden with colourful spring flowers and a grass sculpture that said 'Checkmate Residence' beside the building logo. You noticed that there were many chairs that swung. They were even selling drinks.

You decided to get a cup of coffee and sat on the swing since it was almost sunset anyway. Might as well watch the sunset. You were relaxing and scrolling through social media when it was almost seven in the evening.

The sun was descending, its tranquil and gorgeous warm colours spreading into the eternal bright sky. It had been a long time since you sat down to watch the beautiful sunset.

You stood up, readying to leave the place since Jimin was going to be home soon. You departed the sky which had now turned into a gorgeous shade of magenta and purple. You snapped a few pictures as well.

Dragging yourself towards the elevator, you pressed on the 100th floor. Just like your neighbor said, you ended up in the upstairs hallway.

Your POV

It's been an hour since I was completely finished with cooking. Just then, the doorbell rang. Jimin walked in without saying anything, leaving me to sneer at him again.

He finished showering and I called him out for dinner. Serving the plates, I sat down with him. I took some for myself and wanted to start a conversation. I have been married to him for two days and we barely talked.

"So, how was work?" I asked, a bit nervous. "Fine," Jimin replied, his tone a bit rude as his eyes were focused on the plate of food before him. Noticing his lack of interest, I decided to stop before I embarrassed myself.

I finished eating quickly and put my wrists on the edge of the table as the chair pushed back. Getting up, I washed my plate and left it on the rack before walking upstairs and lying flat on the bed.

It's been about an hour since I slipped on my glasses and started reading a book that I started a few days back. My eyelids were feeling heavy when darkness crawled into my vision, preventing me from staying awake any longer.

End of Your POV

Jimin just finished signing his last file and closed it shut when a tired yawn escaped his plump lips. Turning off the office lights, he made his way towards the room at the end of the hallway.

He suddenly heard tiny, cute snores from the room that you slept in. Getting curious, he peeked his head in to see all the lights still on as you were sleeping in an uncomfortable position on the bed.

He slightly smiled at the sight as he removed the book that was covering half of your face and kept the glasses beside you on the table. He then moved your leg into a better position and covered you with a warm blanket.

You were sleeping too heavily to notice as he adjusted your pillow and turned off the lights of the room. Jimin closed the doors that were wide open before and made his way towards his room. He fell right asleep from the tiring day after washing up fidgeting around.
