THE AFTERMATH of Tiffany's death were horrendous. Students didn't feel safe, and left the campus. Others documented their fear and grief through social media, posting photos of the crime scene with their own sob stories.

The media had all eyes on Wallace University; soaking it all up just like blood thirsty vampires, their craving for drama high and rising. And with all the attention, the Kappa girls were on edge.

Abby felt stuck. In one way, it felt like a fever dream. But she knew it was real, and she was risking her life, and all for what? She didn't have an answer.

Currently, herself and the other Kappa's sat uncomfortably in the lounge of the Kappa house. Dean Munsch, Gigi and a detective stood in front of them, eyeing them off cautiously.

"Girls, this is Detective Chisholm. He's here investigating the beheading that happened in your garden last night." Dean Munsch explained, before looking directly at The Chanel's suspiciously, "Where is Miss Bean and Chanel Number 2?"

"It is pretty suspicious they're not here." Chanel spoke with a shrug, standing behind the girls. Chanel #3 and #5 sat in chairs with cocktails in their hands, and the pledges sat around in the ground.

"Well, as far as I'm concerned, all of you are suspects." Everyone stiffened. "It was only a matter of time before things got out of hand at the sorority and someone got killed." Dean Munsch spoke.

"We don't want any of you leaving campus until we talk to you, get a better sense of what happened." Detective Chisholm told them, holding a notepad and pen. Grace stared at him shocked, "You can't keep us prisoner here."

"No, he can't. But none of you are excused to leave. So, if you do, you will be graded on every missed test and class assignment. And this investigation could take weeks, which means it's most likely that you will fail out of college."

"That's so unfair. If you keep us here, any one of us could be the next victim for this Red Devil fella. You're risking our lives." Abby spoke up, looking between them in disbelief. Dean Munsch shrugged.

"Gigi, you can't let her do this." Grace pleaded with her, Gigi sighed, "If someone is targeting you, they're gonna find you wherever you are. You know, and if at least you're here, you can keep an eye on each other."

Everyone shared worried glances. "We can make it fun, huh? Like a 'Friends' episode. But someone's, you know, trying to murder all the friends." Chanel scoffed. "Good. Then it's decided." Dean Munsch smiled.

She grabbed the arm of the detective and dragged him out, talking about a sushi bar, Grace then stood up next to Gigi. "Guys, Gigi is right. We have to move into the house. It's the only way we can look after one another."

"That's insane! Okay? The pledges cannot move into the house." Chanel #5 argued, Chanel shrugged, "The risks are real, but we need to close ranks. If any of you die while protecting a sister, you're allowed to skip the rest of Hell Week. And I'm gonna hire security."

"I don't feel comfortable with a man protecting me. It's representative of the patriarchal postcolonial culture that encourages violence against woman." Everyone stared at Sam weirdly.

Gigi clapped her hands, "Always saying what everyone is thinking. Ladies, I got this, okay? I got it." She reassured everyone. Abby roamed her eyes around the room, a sense of frustration overcoming her.

BOONE AND ABBY sat together on the quad grass, a picnic blanket underneath them as they enjoyed each other's company. A tension was high in the air.

Boone swallowed his food before turning to Abby, "How're you doing? I mean, after last night. That must've been terrifying." Abby took a sip of her drink, glancing at him nervously.

"If I'm being honest, I'm scared, but- I'm not, like, terrified. I'm more cautious then anything." Boone nodded in understanding. He looked at her with his head slightly tilted, a lop sided grin on his face.

Abby smiled confused at him, "What?" Boone chuckled, shaking his head, "Nothing, it's just- you're really beautiful, you know that?" Her cheeks turned bright red as Boone admired her.

She looked away as she hid her reddened face, Boone smiled cheekily, "Awe, you're blushing." He teased her. Abby slapped his arm gently, "I am not. I'm just, uh, flustered from the heat."

"Yeah. The heat radiating off of my hot body." Boone continued to tease her, Abby chuckled, shaking her head. "You're so full of yourself, you know that?" Boone shrugged, "Eh, best part about me."

She shook her head, looking at him through her eyelashes, "There's more to you than you realise, Boone." Boone looked at her shocked, never had anyone told him something like that before.

"Really?" He questioned, she nodded. "Of course. Don't bring yourself down." Boone smiled at her lovingly, he felt himself coming to terms with his feelings, despite only knowing her for a week or two.

"I think I'm falling in love with you."

Abby's head snapped towards him, her eyes wide and her mouth gaping open. Boone stared at her in seriousness, his eyes flicking from one eye to the other in question.

"You- you- you what?" She stuttered, her words coming out in a frantic as she looked at Boone shocked. "I'm falling in love with you, Abby." Boone repeated, this time sounding more sure.

Abby spluttered about, no words forming in her mouth as she stayed silent. Boone watched her as she reacted, and he expected the worse, he felt himself frown and his heart sink.

"I shouldn't have said anything, I'm sorry." He hurriedly spoke, standing up as he dusted himself off. Abby looked up at him worried, "Wait, no-" Boone stopped her, "I'm just going to go. I'll see you around."

Before she could get another word in, Boone had walked away, leaving her all alone, confused and shocked. And that's when it officially sunk in. Boone Clemens was in love with her.
