CHAPTER FOURTEEN scream queens, scene fourteen "chainsaw/kappa death day"

SINCE THE examination of Chanel #2's room, Abby had the thought of Boone and Chanel #2 on her mind since discovering his belt clip on her floor, underneath her vanity.
She didn't know what to feel, Boone and herself were only together for about a week, but they fell in love quickly, and were each other's first times. To her, it felt like they were meant to be, which was the most cliche thing in the relationship world, but this was different.
Boone told her that he had never loved another before, and that the thought of a serious relationship frightened him, though he never explained the reason as to why that was.
But, since the discovery of the clip, she didn't tell anyone, afraid that they would say something. So she kept it to herself, and the clip was hidden away in her pocket all the time.
Currently, the whole campus- at least the ones who stayed- were marching along, remembering who they lost and declaring that they are not a KKT, letting it be known to the Red Devil, if he was watching.
Abby stood alongside Zayday and Grace, the three of them holding torch candles as they walked along, examining their surroundings. "What's with all these Kappa signs?" Grace asked confused.
"It's a thing now." Zayday spoke shrugging, Abby nodded, "Yeah. People say the killer's targeting Kappas, or people associated with Kappa. Which, is true. So, they figure if he knows they're not, he won't gut 'em like a fish." Grace scoffed, walking ahead.
Abby looked at Zayday, before looking behind her to see Chad and Earl Grey, a thought quickly popped into her mind. "Hey Z, I'm just going to talk to those two over there for moment, okay?"
Zayday nodded, "Okay, girl. Just, uh, don't try and flirt with Earl, 'cause he kinda cute, and I wouldn't mind getting with him at some point." Abby smirked, wiggling her eyebrows teasingly, "Oo, someone's got a crush."
Zayday pushed her arm, "Shut up, I do not. I don't get crushes, I just find him incredibly sexy." Abby laughed as Zayday smiled, before walking up ahead to Grace.
Abby watched her leave before turning to look at Chad and Earl, she took a deep breath before walking towards them, their conversation coming into her hearing.
"It's just blowing my mind. I can't believe my best friend Boone is dead." Chad spoke, tearing up. "You know, I heard the coroner calling Boone's death a suicide. It's a bloody tragedy." Earl informed him.
"Yeah, well, it was really bloody. I don't know, man, it's just one of those things in life that just hits you so hard, and you just think to yourself, it's gonna be weeks before I really, truly get over this." Abby walked in front of them as Chad finished talking.
