It was a calm summer's evening, I was playing an online game with my friends on my computer, when my mum suddenly broke the door down. "What are you doing?" I got such a shock that I dropped my controller. "Just playing a game, why is there a problem?" She didn't seem very pleased with my reply. "Right, enough gaming, go outside and get some fresh air, NOW!" There was a forest a few miles from our house where I normally go to clear my head. I was so angry that I wasn't paying attention to which way I was going, when I finally came to my senses I realised that I was lost in this silent sanctuary. While trying to find my way out I came across a pyramid shaped temple in the clearing in the forest. The door eerily slid open, revealing a pitch black chamber inside. As I walked in the torches sitting on the walls ignited in sequence all leading up to a small room with a podium. Sitting on that podium was a crown that looked more like a tiara and a small red crystal. Knowing that my mates loved to have a laugh I put them on my head, as I raised the phone to my face I started to feel dizzy and heavy. Before I even knew it had happened I was out cold.

When I awoke my head felt sore and I found that I was still inside the pyramid shaped temple. When I walked out it was no surprise that I was still lost in the forest, while trying to find an exit I walked past a river and saw something that truly frightened me. The figure that I saw in the reflection wasn't me. I was covered in black fur, my eyes were completely catlike, my hands had become predatory claws and the crown I had put on my head had vanished, fusing the crystal to my head. I backed up against a tree wondering what I should do, I knew I couldn't return home looking like this.

When I got home something didn't feel right, the neighbourhood was covered in vines and was entirely deserted as if everyone had fled from something; but what? A sinister laugh erupted from the undergrowth, as a creature made of plants sprouted out of the ground. From behind him an army of lizard creatures surrounded me, I transformed into the panther form I had taken on earlier. Little did I know the lizard creatures had the strength of 10 men. Give me some credit, I didn't know exactly how to fight at that stage. I thought of a weapon that would be useful at the time and two katana blades appeared in my hands, with accuracy I was able to slice through the lizard creatures like a hot knife through butter. I then turned my attention to the plant creature, dodging his attacks like someone from the Matrix. With one final blow he was history. I then spotted a small green crystal with a leaf shape in its centre lying on the ground. I replaced it with my crystal and put my hands on the ground, all the vines and creepers surrounding the houses retracted into my hand in the blink of an eye. Ten minutes later everyone started to come back into the neighbourhood, I was in the garden when my mum and dad came back. My mum apologised for shouting at me earlier and said I could go and hang out with my friends' tomorrow.
