Chapter 3: Quest for the Luna Sabre

We were playing a game, when I sensed something nearby. We transformed, and armed ourselves. A girl with long, purple red hair walked in, she had a small pink crystal on her head. My senses were at ease as she seemed familiar. We powered down and walked up to meet her. She said her name was Mystica and that she was the cause for our first two attacks. "I want to make up for the trouble I've caused you. I swear that I'll help you with anything. How about some new weapons, I got a great one for Reece! Legend has it that hidden in a cave up on the Himalayan mountains lies a sword of great power, a sword that gains power from moonlight. It also says that whoever retrieves the sword will obtain the spirit of the Luna Wolf", With a couple of nods and a few words it was decided that we'd help Reece find this Luna sword. One of our coolest powers was that we could turn our animal spirits into inanimate objects like vehicles. I chose a hover cycle, Reece chose a dirt bike, Sean chose a jet, Blake chose a dune buggy and Austin chose a hoverboard. Mystica rode on the hover cycle with me.

When we reached the Himalayas we transformed into our animal spirits to make it easier to climb the mountain. Once at the top we entered the cave which glowed as bright as a star, the inside was like a maze which was hard to navigate, except for Reece who found his way through every twist and turn as if he knew this place like the back of his hand. While we were following him I asked Mystica why no one has ever found the Luna Sabre, she told me that the last group of men who tried to find it never returned and that's what deterred people from searching for it. She also told me that since it was guarded by the Luna Wolf only a warrior with the wolf spirit can find it and that is why people got so easily lost in this maze. We came across two large iron doors which glowed with an illuminous blue. When Reece entered the chamber, the doors slammed shut behind him. From the other side we heard sounds of growling, barking, grunting and howling. All of these sounds indicated that there was something big and not at all friendly behind the enormous entrance. From what felt like forever (but was really half an hour) the doors flew open and a blinding light shone through, Reece walked out wearing an illuminous blue armour with the Luna Sabre in his hands, and behind him stood a wolf the size of a house glowing with the same illuminous blue as Reece. Mystica recognised it as the Luna Wolf and said that it was part of Reece forever.

Back at the den we thanked Mystica for helping us and welcomed her as part of the team. Then we had a party to celebrate our new teammate's arrival along with pizza and after we cleared up we watched a movie. Later that day I found Reece down in the weapons lab. He was studying something about the moon and its energy. I decided to leave him to it and went up to my room to watch some online videos.

Deep in his cave Scorpius was deep in thought on how he was going to create his warriors. Little did he know that there was someone out there that was willing to do anything to wipe us out!
