It was another summer's day as I stepped out of the house to meet my friends at the arcade. My phone started ringing in my pocket, when I answered it a startled voice spoke on the other end, "Dude! Get over here quick, something's happened to Blake'' ''I'm on my way!" While I was driving there on my hover cycle my mind was racing, going through all the scenarios, all of them bad. I arrived at the location only to find my friends circling around Blake who was sitting on the pavement looking a little shaken. I sat next to him examining him. "Alright Blake, just tell me what happened." "Well, I was walking out the door this morning when some sort of drone flew down and zapped me, and then while I was on the ground it took some blood from me." "I have a feeling this has something to do with Scorpius, but why would he need a blood sample from Blake? Let's get him to the den and see if Mystica can help." Thankfully Mystica gave Blake a full health scan and told us that nothing was wrong with him.

The next day the alarm went off and we were there in less than 10 minutes. This time it was a black and yellow creature that had wheels for feet and wore a helmet with a visor. Trying to damage him was entirely impossible; he was like a lightning bolt, blurry and fast. He was even faster than Blake which was also impossible, unless...the blood sample! The blood sample the drone took from Blake was then brought back to Scorpius who then probably used it to create Speed demon. That explained how he could outrun Blake. We retreated back to the den. While the guys were healing I had some work to do. I researched the speed of a peregrine falcon, a cheetah and a sailfish and added them all together then I called Blake down to the lab to do an analysis scan, the results matched perfectly. Put it like this, if you take the speed of the three animals I mentioned and add them together it comes up like this: 200+69+70=339MPH. Speed demon is able to run twice this fast at 678MPH, but just like all of us after a certain amount of time he tires out, so in order to defeat him Blake needs to out run him long enough for him to tire out, the only way to do that is to find a way to increase his speed.

I ordered a meeting in the main room to discuss the discovery and to get ideas of how to increase Blake's speed. Now, no offence to my friends but when it comes to coming up with ideas they are crap. These were some of their ideas; rocket boots, jetpack, an Ironman suit, and the worst one, calling The Flash to help train him. Even though the Ironman suit was a stupid alternative, it did give me an idea. What if I could make a suit that could enhance Blake's speed, I brought Blake down to the lab so we could get to work. "OK Blake I need a sample of your blood." "My blood! Are you serious, I just got blood drawn from me by a drone yesterday and now you want my blood as well?" "It will be worth it, I promise.". "It better be, I don't think I like giving my blood to everybody." I drew about a millilitre of blood and added it to a serum that enhanced speed in living organisms. Then I took some measurements of Blake's arms, legs and waist. The material used for the racer suit was a lightweight poly-metal. I made a device similar to the arc reactor Ironman wore, but this wasn't going to be connected to Blake's heart, it was going to connect to his spine, arms and legs. The suit also required a device that would allow Blake to control how fast he could go; this was something similar to a smartwatch that connected from the wrist to the centre of the suit via tubes. To make sure Blake didn't pass out while running I made a special helmet that was designed to let air pass through his nostrils like a peregrine falcon.

The suit was finally complete, the only thing left to do was to recharge the core. The core takes approximately 30 minutes to fully charge after that it can be used infinitely. The alarm went off at just the wrong time, the core hadn't yet fully charged and it was our only weapon against Speed Demon. Blake would have to stay behind and wait for the core to charge in order to use the racer suit. Me and the rest of the team would have to hold Speed demon back until Blake arrived.

If there was any chance of meeting death, it was there and now. Speed demon was just too strong and fast for us. I knew we couldn't just give up, we had to keep fighting, but it was merely impossible. Just as we were about to give in there was a high whistling sound as a spear struck Speed demon knocking him onto the ground. We turned around to find Blake standing on the edge of the path. In the blink of an eye Blake was in the racer suit and it looked way better than I had expected. Speed demon looked at him in awe, "You think some magic suit is going to help you defeat me!" "No, but I can try." "Give me your best shot kid!" Just as I had planned the suit allowed Blake to increase his speed which in this case was 339x5=1695 MPH. Even though Speed Demon was behind him Blake was definitely going faster. After about 30 minutes Speed demon was beginning to slow down, meaning he was getting tired. After allowing our healing power to kick in we were ready for their return. By the time Blake returned Speed demon was too weak to fight. Encasing him in an elemental circle, I took the final blow and Speed Demon was out of sight.
