It was a warm August morning when Nina awoke, she decided to leave Mike asleep as she had to go to the meeting to sort out parts of the case and how they were going to go by handling the suing. She promised Mike that he would be allowed to come alongside her to meet the infamous Harvey Specter. Mike knew that something had happened between the two of them, when he mentioned the idea about suing, it was almost like she was ashamed to say she knew him and then she made up the excuse to use Louis Litt as supposed to Harvey. He thought that was very odd as Harvey Specter is one of the best lawyers in New York, and the best closer in the city so why would she go for someone not as good, so yeah Mike knew there was something going on he just couldn't quite determine what exactly it was, but he sure as hell was going to find out one way or another.

So, Nina got up at 7.30, hopped in the shower to wash her hair and herself and to freshen up in preparation for this interview with THE Harvey Specter, got out to put her formal clothes to use, that she never wore, she thought they were formal, others probably wouldn't. All it was, were some plain black trousers form target, a white racerback body suit and a light pink blazer, all from old navy. It wasn't anything special, but Nina made it look special. After she was fully clothed, she sorted out her hair, just dried it and straightened it, her long brown hair really suited her, usually she had it in a ponytail as she couldn't really have it down at work, but it sat well over her pink blazer. Finally, she put some light makeup on, to remove any traces of worried eyebags to make it look like she was in constant worry for her husband, also to cover up the 4 hours of sleep from the previous night. After all of this it was ready to hit 9.30, she had better get going for her meeting at 10.00am.

She went to check on her 10-year-old son to make sure he hadn't woken, and she would have been forced to take him with her, and knowing him, he would have had an awful lot to say and ask to the older man. She also didn't want him to know the truth about who he really was to her, Nina had expected that he could sense something had happened between the two when she decided to make the stupid choice of calling for Louis rather than Harvey as everyone knows what a legend Harvey Specter is in New York. Thankfully he was asleep and all of them worries had disappeared. Just as she was leaving, Edith, James's mother, showed up to mind Mike when he awoke from his slumber, it would be rather irresponsible for her to leave him by himself.

She picked up her keys and her handbag and off she went, she decided to take a cab as she didn't know if there would be parking and then that's more hassle, a cab just seemed more practical than all that fuss. She got in the yellow car, told the driver her destination, Pearson Hardman, and sat in the back in silence, listening to the sweet, quiet tunes coming from the aux by the cab driver, the nerves started to kick in with the thoughts of seeing the gentleman who she hadn't seen at all in the last 11 years and then more nerved kicked in with the thought of all of this was becoming a reality. That's when she was brought back to reality with heavy sweats, a very prominent stomach-ache and heavy breathing. Shit. She knew exactly what it was. A fucking panic attack. Nina was able to compress it within 15 minutes, just as she did, the cab driver pulled up at the building. This rather tall, large glass building which homed Pearson Hardman. She took a deep breath of the air around her, stepped out of the cab, paid the driver and started walking towards the building.

Deep breaths, Deep breaths, Deep breaths were the only 2 words circling around her mind as she stepped inside. There was this feeling of regret passing through her mind, but she pushed it to the back and made it stay there. This was the only way she was going to get justice for her Husband who was currently lying on a hospital bed, who was dangerously close to death. This way she had the best person to get that justice. *bing*. The elevator reached floor 50, she walked towards the reception desk where she was greeted by a very lovely redheaded woman Donna, ah yes Donna, she remembered her very well. She escorted her to conference room D where we she was met with a Harvey Specter, he welcomed her in, and gave her a soft embrace and a kiss on the cheek, their eyes met and suddenly it was giving them both flashbacks to 11 years ago and them amazing months they shared together.

They both took a seat, once again made very intense eye contact that lasted 3 seconds longer than it should have. He was getting the flashbacks of them eating out at restaurants, going ice skating after Christmas, the nights they spent together. He was snapped out of these thoughts when he heard her say his name, "Harvey, should we start with the case now...Harvey?".

"Oh yes sorry, ok so first things first I am taking this as a pro-bono meaning you or your husband will not be charged, I am doing this because I want to therefore I persuaded Jessica to do it as a pro-bono and she agreed, secondly you will need to sign an engagement letter which protects the firm from getting hurt if something goes wrong, which it should do but it's just there for precaution, anyway are you ready to begin?" He recited to her.

"Yes, I am more than ready, I am going to get justice against those sons of bitches that put my husband in the hospital." Nina noticed her voice getting slightly louder and tearier than necessary. There was an awkward silence after this last comment. Probably due to the fact that Nina and James are still married despite the fact that she got with Harvey whilst they were married yet he got to keep her.

"Ok, and I will assist you in getting that justice, so first things first, run me through what happened, how it happened etc..." Harvey promised.

"So, first things first, I was just at home taking care of our 10-year-old son, Michael, when my phone rang. It was mount Sinai informing me that James had been rushed in after collapsing at work only 30 minutes prior, they wouldn't give me any other information only that he want doing well and I should rush down here immediately. When I arrived, they told me that they found lead in his blood when trying to figure out the cause of his collapse. All I could think of is the fact that he has only ever been at work, and then home so it had to be work that was causing this as it sure as shit isn't home, where would I get Lead from anyway?" She could feel her voice raising ever so slightly more as she got further into the story. "So, I contacted the company he works for 'gallate medicines' and requested to see the chemicals they had been working with and seeing if the workplace were good working conditions, for what it could be of course! They then refused to give away that information due to it being privileged? Then my son came up with the idea to sue you" Harvey raised an eyebrow. "No, he is a very bright boy, he may only be 10 but he knows a lot about the law from what I hear, has owned every law book out there and can recite it page for page, but that is not the point. He said that we have grounds to sue as he read about it, that's when I had the idea to call Louis because I wanted to call you but because of our past I didn't want to disturb you in case you were busy." She finished. "That's about it, what can we do about it?" Nina questioned to the lawyer infant of her.

"Well, it seems as though the company has something to hide if they aren't willing to tell you what is going on or aren't willing to share what chemicals they have been working with and as far as I am concerned, that type of information usually isn't privileged, so they are talking out of their arses. Now are you sure you haven't had a lawyer that works for the company your partner does to try and pay you off for your silence yet?" Harvey asked her.

"No, we haven't had anyone around, but I suppose it has only been two days." She replied.

"Well keep on the lookout, you have my number so call me and tell me as soon as they do so we can have it on the record, this helps build our case as it makes them look guilty. So, make sure you do that, and unrelated but if your son is interested in the law, bring him in next time and I'll give him a book I can bet he hasn't bought or read yet" The lawyer said to her.

"Thank you, is that everything or do we need to do something else right now?" Nina inquired.

"No, nothing else needs to be done for now, just remember to inform me when or if that lawyer shows up, I will get our best paralegal researching into past cases from this company as I can guarantee you that your husband is not the first person to get poisoned from this company and he won't be the last unless we can actually do everything in our power to make sure it never happens again, but until I call you again for an update on the case building stay well and I wish you all the best with your husband Nina" He spoke with a hint of sadness in his voice.

"Thank you, Harvey, very much appreciated, and I will tell Mike that you invited him here next time, he will be very surprised and thankful." she responded.
