Chapter 2 - Goodbye For Now (Edited)

Blossom pov:

I finished the last of my projects today. I'm leaving Townsville tomorrow. I can't stand to hear the name Powerpuff or Rowdyboy again. 

Its probably the end of my friendship for them but I . I will miss the girls very much but I know they are mad at me but I will always love and treasure my friendship with them. I would still meet Professor Utuniom but I changed my schedule and met him in his house instead of his lab to avoid the others. You might think I really want to avoid Buttercup, Bubbles, Butch, Boomer but I don't. I just can't bring myself to them after what I've done and what they have done to me. It was even harder for me to avoid Brick because I miss him so much but I don't know if he still feels the same after what I have done. I went home and saw my parents packing up our bags. "Momoko, are you already done packing your bags?" asked my father. "Yup dad! Just need to say goodbye to Professor Utunoim before I leave" I told them. My parents looked at each other and then looked at me. "You know Momoko it's normal for friends to fight and after they fight they usually make up. You and the other girls have been friends for years and have been protecting Townsville tons of times." said my Mom. "Plus you are the pink Powerpuff and we didn't even know until now" "I already made my decision mom and it's not going to change." I answered. "Your mom is just saying that it is your last chance to be with your friends. Maybe you should call them or tell them your leaving? You have been wanting to go to Japan for years and I know you want to leave but I know you also miss your friendship with them and they feel the same because all friendships are like that." said my dad "I know dad except my friendship with them is different. They chose to fight against me and I don't think it will be the same after that" I answered back. My parents sighed, knowing they couldn't convince me. I know it is wrong to leave but again I can't stand having to see my friends without me. It hurts me more when I remember when they fought against me. Tomorrow though that will all change. I will miss Townsville but this is probably for the best. "Momoko, where are you going?" asked my sister Kuriko "I am going to say good-bye to the Professor, Ken and Peach." "Ok Powerpuff girl!!" she responded in a teasing way. I had to convince my parents in some way to leave Townsville and in doing so I revealed my identity. I am not even sure if it is still my identity cause it is not the identity that I use anymore. Anyway, she would keep on teasing me about it but I know she just wants to keep me happy after what happened, She was the one who actually tried to convince mom and dad to stay in Townsville not only because of her social life but also because she wanted me to get back with my friends though it is not happening. Oh my! I saw the clock and I have to run to reach the professor in time and sleep early to be able to reach our flight tomorrow.

Brick pov:

Decided to stop at the Professor's lab tonight.  Just really need to get these emotions out of my head. 

As I approached the door though, I hear my counterpart's voice. 

"I guess this is goodbye Blossom." said the Professor with a tear in his eye. "I want you to keep this" and Ispot from the door, the shine of the Pink Powerpuff Belt.

"But Professor...." Blossom replied. From her voice, I can tell she's crying.

"No Blossom---There will never be another Powerpuff like you. The others would agree too. If you don't take it, it would just lie around here with the dust, No one would use it anyway. Nobody could replace you nor would we do. ................You don't have to go" Go? G 

"Professor---- you know why I have to do this. . .  I have to leave! It's better for all of us." 

"They didn't mean it Blossom, you know it. Arguments happen, the important thing is we fix  it. come back" Come back from where? I wondered. Was she leaving?  "Professor can we talk?" I said as I knocked on the door "You should tell at least him Blossom that you are leaving" he whispered but I still heard it with my super hearing "ok" my counterpart replied in a small voice. The professor then opened the door with a smile. "Hi Brick! Its nice to see you!" "I know she is here Professor. I heard your conversation." I then rushed inside when I saw a red bow on the couch. "Hi Brick" she said

Third person pov:

"Hi Bloss" Brick replied. "I have to see if Ken and Peach are ok" said the Professor left. "I missed you Bloss" Brick said "You know I never meant it against you." "I know Brick" she said as she hugged me. "I am sorry" "Well I am also sorry." he said "I love you Blossom. I always have." Brick said quietly. Blossom blushed and suddenly had tears in her eyes. "Brick I love you too but I have to tell you, I will be leaving" she said while still hugging each other. "Where? On a vacation?" Brick joked but he soon realized she wasn't joking. "I going away for a long time  Brick. I can't stay here. Not with the others still here. One of us has to leave or its just going to keep breaking my heart. I already have a flight tomorrow morning." she said crying. Brick started crying too. "Blossom you can go back to the team." "I can't Brick. Being with the others will never be the same. There was a reason you all sided against me. Being leader will always be hard and its for the best." "Where will you go" he said "To japan. I always wanted to go there" "Why? Because of the Cherry Blossoms?" he joked again "Maybe" she said and sadly smiled. "I am going to miss you Blossom" "I will miss you too Brick and I will come back as soon as I can and promise to tell you." she said still sadly smiling He then leaned in and kissed her.

Blossom pov:

Brick decided to drop me home. After all it will be my last time seeing him and I admit I still have regrets but its for the best. I will always be sad for leaving my home so it will be normal in any situation. I convinced myself. It was a silent drive back to my house. I was in the front seat while Brick was driving and none of us said anything. We finally arrived and before I opened the door he said to me. "Blossom, I know you will leave but promise me something." "What" I said blushing because he was very close "Promise me that you are mine forever Blossom" he said and I think I could see his cheeks getting red as well which made him ever cuter. "I promise Brick" and I kissed him this time. After a few minutes, I opened the door and said my last words to him. "I love you Brick" He smiled at me and said "I love you Blossom"
