It's raining.

It's not that strong but it's not just drizzling either. I have always loved the rain. It helped me feel the stuff I knew I needed to feel. Right now, it's helped me feel more familiar with the city block.

When I first arrived, everything was a blur to me. It wasn't that hard to fit in because I just came from the city but because of it, I literally thought Townsville was still the country-like or at least small-town place I've come to know. It's NOT. There are now buildings, diners, malls and stores everywhere just like in the city, which has made me realize it would be even harder to feel back at home here even though it's just like my city home which I lived in for 5 years. Rain makes it foggier and cloudier so there are less clouds on the street and less very bright lights that I see open every day even during the morning. It definitely makes me feel at home and remember that Townsville is still Townsville.

There's also bad stuff though of the rain. I have to wear my still wet raincoat because it was also raining yesterday. Then again, it's gonna make my clothes wet anyway so...... yeah never mind. Is that a......... scream? I think to myself as I walk closer to a very familiar house on the street.

"Let me gooooooo Boomer"

I hear a sigh "you know I can't"

"HE GOT ME IN DETENTION"

"I did nothing" "It's not the first time, Buttercup" Another sigh.

Looks like some things never change as I stop at the RowdyRuff's front door. I smirk. They definitely did renovations but it was obviously still a "Rowdyruff home".

"What are you doing here?" I hear behind me. Again, with the some things never change. I heard him a mile away.

"Ohh it's you.... Bricky boy, right?" I say with a smirk. I really seem to be rubbing off him lately. "And I'm here to do the group assignment unless this isn't the address" shoving the address Bubbles texted me at his face

"What??" His eyes widened. "Don't you read your messages Bricky?" I tease at him as he checks his phone for any message saying they were gonna meet at HIS house. "Shut up. I told Boomer I can't.... BOOMER"

"You can't what?" Aria replies looking amused at his scowling as he angrily pushing the buttons of his phone.

"Nothing..............stalker. Guess you can't trust anyone nowadays, can you?" I glance at his phone to see him change the nickname of his brother to "This is Betrayal" right before he returns it to his pocket. Boys, I sigh in my head.

"You talkin to yourself, Bricky Boy?" I tease him again

"Stop calling me Bricky Boy or I'll,,,,,,,,," "Or you'll what Bricky" interrupting him

SLAM! I feel my heart stop as I'm slammed on the gate and stare at my counterpart's eyes.

Nothing really happens aside from us staring at each other's eyes. Still, why do I feel like it should be? His eyes have definitely become a darker red but still has that hint of bright red from before. I bet he sees the same bright red, feeling a blush on my face as I notice his face. I hate to say it but Brick has definitely ............. matured over the years. "Or i'll............"

"Or you'll what?" I say softly

"Nothing" he says but doesn't let go of my shoulders. We continue to stare at each other without looking away. I feel shy again, looking at his red piercing eyes and his confused face. "You remind me so much of"

"Woaaah" I scream as the door opens and I fall on my butt on the ground. Thank goodness, the cement's not that hard "Aria??? But how?" Grimacing, I look up and see Boomer in front of me, confused and still having a hand on the door knob while helping me get back at my feet. I avoid eye contact, realizing that he could have seen what just happen, whatever that was.
