When Levi opened his eyes, he found out he was not lying on the couch like he had used to. He was occupying Erwin's bed. More specifically, he was chained to it. His hands were in handcuffs that attached them to bed's headboard.
"What the fuck?" he growled, trying to escape from the tight grip. However, each time he used force, he could feel his strength leaving him. The handcuffs must have been cursed. There was no other explanation.
When he realized he could not free himself without someone else's help, he decided to call his roommate. He was sure the merman was the one who chained him. Unfortunately, the reason behind his action was not so clear to Levi.
"What if he did something to me?" worries took over him in an instant. "I don't remember what happened after I started eating... what if there were some kind of drugs in the food? I shouldn't have trusted him..."
"Where are you Fish-loving Bastard?!" the vampire shouted like a complete lunatic. He was furious. He wanted to tear Erwin to pieces, so when the man appeared in the doorway, Levi immediately showered him with bunch of curses.
The blond man did not say anything, just sat down on the bed, not taking his eyes off the raven. Once the vampire calmed down to the point there was no curse word he had not used, Erwin finally talked:
"Do you remember what happened last night?"
"I remember you squeezing me to death while I was turning into a monster. I then tried to eat something and... and that's the last thing I recall," the raven hissed, still pissed at the merman. Levi grinned his teeth like some wild animal in order to intimidate the big man. Unfortunately for him, that was all he could do.
"Just as I thought," Erwin sighed regretfully.
"Mind to explain?" the vampire was growing short of patience.
"It's common for vampires to go hunting right after their transformation and it seems you are no exception."
"Where did I go? Did I attack anyone?" Levi asked, his anger replaced by worry. Only then he noticed the bandage on Erwin's neck, which was mostly hidden by a collar of a blue shirt.
"Shit," he cursed, his eyes wide open. He could have killed the man who was taking care of him the whole time. What would happen if he had succeeded? He would be thrown in a prison or even killed given the fact he was now a dangerous vampire.
"Shit, I'm so sorry," the raven whispered, tearing up. He could not believe he was crying like a little child. In addition, his hands were still cuffed. He could not wipe the tears away.
"That's fine, I shouldn't have been so distracted," Erwin did not want him to apologize, he thought it was not Levi's fault. It was natural for him to attack. Erwin knew this and he should have acted upon it. The merman was in the right state of mind, therefore he was the one responsible.
"What got you distracted?" the raven did not understand.
"Nothing really, I was just tired," the blond man lied, cursing himself for letting it slip like that. He got distracted by Levi himself, however, the small one must never get to know. It was extremely unprofessional of Erwin to think this way about his client.
"What time is it?" the raven asked, looking around in attempt to find a clock.
"4 PM, you slept for 14 hours," Erwin informed him with a smile. He found it adorable. He acted like a proud mother after her sick child rested well and was now feeling better.
"Unbelievable," Levi scoffed, blinking quickly to get rid of the tears in his eyes. To his surprise, Erwin took a napkin and whipped his face gently. His touch was so sudden Levi froze immediately. However, he quickly relaxed again and let the warm careful fingers to take care of him, starting to enjoy their work in the end.
