When Levi woke up, he was once again in handcuffs. The room was dark, but his eyes managed to see pretty well. The raven knew he could thank his vampire abilities for that. He started looking for a clock, however, found none.
"Fish-kisser! I am awake!" he informed him about this important fact. He jiggled with his handcuffs, creating a powerful ringing. Door opened and the blond man entered with a box of fake blood already in his hands.
"Did you sleep well?" Erwin asked, walking to one of the night stands and turning on a small lamp, which should not hurt Levi's eyes too badly.
"What time is it?" the vampire completely ignored his question.
"10 PM, you slept for another 6 hours," Erwin was more polite then his roommate once again.
"Great, now what? It's night and I have already slept enough!" Levi snarled while Erwin sat to his right.
"Yes, but that's a good thing. As a vampire you should sleep mainly during day," Erwin reminded him, holding the box of fake blood in front of Levi's annoyed face. The vampire again drunk the entire box in just a few seconds.
"You don't need to hurry. Try to enjoy it a bit," Erwin suggested, for which he was awarded with a death glare.
"And now what? Will you free me?"
"Yes, sort of," the merman admitted, getting up to get him off the handcuffs. However, he freed only one of his hands. Levi got up, not minding it, and let Erwin drag him to the living room.
"What the...?" the vampire whispered upon seeing a long chain on the floor. It was attached to a radiator and by its length Levi assumed it could reach even bathroom. Erwin dragged him to the chain and before the vampire realized what was happening, the merman attached his handcuffs to the chain.
"What the fuck are you doing?!" the raven started screaming, one of hands now chained, the other free.
"I am afraid you would attack me during my sleep. It's not like I don't trust you, I am just being cautious. If you kill me, it's the end for both of us. Do you understand?" Erwin needed Levi to cooperate. He did not want to make him feel even more uncomfortable.
"Tsk, you are annoying," the vampire hissed, avoiding eye contact. He was well aware of the situation they were in and therefore he did not protest.
"You can go wherever you want besides the bedroom. The chain is not that long. I remind you that each time you try to break the handcuffs, they will take more and more of your strength. If you need anything, just call me, all right?"
"Roger," the vampire replied.
Erwin went to bed, keeping a door open. He fell asleep quickly, it had been an exhausting day after all. For a few hours Levi simply watched the television and lied on his couch. There was nothing much he could do. It was true Erwin left him a few books about vampires on the coffee table, however, the raven was not willing to read them. He was way too lazy for that.
It was around midnight when Levi sensed a sweet smell. Everything else was suddenly blurry. The sound of the movie went silent, the shining screen was no more so eye-catching. He turned his head in its direction. The entrance door. There were close and it seemed like Erwin forgot to think about the possibility Levi could attack someone from the outside.
The scent was slowly fading, the vampire knew he did not have much time left. He rushed to a cupboard, found a key in there and opened the door. He looked around, finding only one person in the hallway. A tall woman with short blond hair. She turned around and measured him up immediately.
