"How are you feeling?" Erwin asked his roommate during lunch. While the merman was eating rice from yesterday and some random vegetables, Levi was feasting on one of the vampire dishes they prepared together. It took a while for the raven to answer as long as his mouth were full of delicious food. He was eating like a true animal, but he could not help it.
"Hungry," was the only thing he could say before focusing once again on his delicacy.
"I like to hear that. Do you want more?" Erwin suggested, ladle already in his hand. Levi did not hear him through all of the pleasure he felt and therefore did not give Erwin any answer. The merman, however, did not mind it and placed more meat on Levi's plate. The small soon-to-be-vampire ate the new portion as well without second thought.
The blond man watched him in silence, his food already finished. It made him happy seeing the grumpy man liking what he prepared. He felt like a grandma, whose only purpose is to make sure her grandchildren are never hungry.
Erwin then got up and set up the couch once more, which made Levi's eyebrows furrow.
"What are you doing?" he asked once he finished eating as well.
"After receiving so much food, you will feel sleepy. Afternoon naps play important role in your transformation, so you might as well take them," the blond man explained, then turned around to face his roommate. His face was wrinkled with frustration and covered with red blood.
"You should clean yourself first," Erwin suggested with a smile, pointing at the bathroom door.
"Sorry about the mess," Levi mumbled, feeling embarrassed and making his way to the washbasin. He caught a glance of himself in a mirror and he almost got a heart attack. He was sickly pale and stained with animal blood. In addition, his reflection was not as strong as it used to be.
"How disgusting," he hissed, turning on water and starting to work on getting as clean as possible. It took him long five minutes to approve of his look and return to the living room, where his nest was already waiting. He might have not admitted it, but he did feel a bit tired.
Without a word, he crawled on the couch and under the covers. He made himself as comfortable as possible, not minding Erwin, who was watching him the whole time in silence.
"Close the curtains, would you?" Levi mumbled. His head was the only part of his body peeking out of the covers, which made him look small and adorable.
"Of course," Erwin whispered. A few seconds later, the room sung in the dark.
"I will be in my bedroom if you need me," the blond man informed him, fighting an urge to caress the black hair. As he had his eyes set on the small creature laying on his couch, a wide smile crawled on his face.
"Sleep well."

"Levi, you need to wake up," a sudden whisper disturbed raven's slumber. He opened his eyes and saw his blond roommate, who was now kneeling at the couch.
"What is it?" the small man mumbled, struggling not to close his eyes. His eyelids were so heavy all of a sudden.
"Your training starts in thirty minutes. You need to get up and..." Erwin was not willing to finish when Levi turned around. The only thing the raven needed was some good sleep.
"So, I guess you won't attend the class today?" the blond man sighed, getting up. There was nothing he could do. If Levi did not feel like going anywhere, he should not force him. The raven knew what his body needed better than anyone, even Erwin. And so, merman left the room, letting him drift off to sleep again.
