Forgotten (ON HOLD)

~Somewhere in Italy~

Around a large conference table sat six Italian men discussing future projects and plans. One of them being the head of the Italian mafia Mateo and the rest being his sons.

"I think we should go with this blueprint, it's more practical" says the oldest son while pointing at the blueprint in the middle of five others.

"Mm, and the returns will also be very good. I say we choose it" says the third oldest while reading through the numbers .

"Okay we will go with that one" their father agreed "Now let's get out of here before your mother comes.." he didn't get a chance to breathe after finishing the sentence when the door to the conference room suddenly opened.

A very beautiful and classy lady walked in making all the men who would not blink even if they had a gun to their heads tense and freeze

"You guys have been in here all day. Am I supposed to eat dinner alone?" She asks in a very calm voice without anger but that very calm voice is what scares them.

The calm before the storm.

Mateo is the first to get up and walk towards her and leans in for a kiss.

"Sorry beautiful" he apologizes and gives her another kiss on the cheek.

She rolls her eyes at the obvious flattery "Well, sorry is not gonna keep the food warm so get moving"

"Yes ma'am"

"On it"

"Yep"

Replies are heard in unison as the five men walk out of the conference room as to not agitate their mother who is heavily pregnant. And an agitated woman is not something they want to deal with.

After the sons left, only the two man and woman were left and they were all smiles and hugs.

"How is my queen and little princess doing?" He asks while rubbing his hand on her big belly.

She sighs "Tired, this little one is very energetic"

"Hmm" he hums and they walk out of the conference room "I've told you not to push yourself too much. You could have sent one of the servants to call us"

She looks at me and scoffs "As if you would listen and come down"

With no way to refute what she said he just kept quiet and helped her down the stairs into the dining hall.

The family dinner always begins with saying grace and its flows happily and peacefully.

Half way through dinner, an alarm that lets them know they have been hacked sounds though out the house.

Everyone immediately drops whatever they're doing and goes to the IT room, which is a big room filled with big screens and monitors.

"What's going on?" The oldest son who is the first to get there asks and soon everyone follows.

Right after he finished asking, all the screens in the room turns black with the words "Hello Mateo" written in bold letters before a video begins to play.

The silence in the room was very heavy as everyone was trying to figure out who it is.

But not long after a man walks out in front of the camera with a devilish smile on his face and says "How are you doing? You seem to be living quite a lavish life"

In the pin drop silenced room someone whispered his name waking everyone from their shocked stare

"Miguel"

Mateo subconsciously put his hand on his wife's belly and stands in front of her to shield her from him.

He laughs at the action and say "Don't worry, I won't hurt her....yet"

"What do you want?" The second oldest asks in seething anger seeing as Miguel was threatening his mother.

He doesn't seem fazed and just shrug "Nothing. But I have a gift for you"

The word gift coming out of his mouth feels very wrong that everyone takes in a breath.

Seeing their reaction he say "Ah don't be like that, you're definitely going to love this one"

After he said that, he moved the camera to the left and that's when they saw a beautiful girl with bruises tired to a chair.

And when the girl raised her head and looked into the camera, it felt as though the air was being sucked out of their bodies.
