This is just a place for me to explode my theories and opinions about Wings Of Fire, the series by Tui. T. Sutherland.
I might also include oneshots of my OCs in here.
THEORY ONE: Nautilus and Whirlpool are related (probably very distantly related though)
So I was looking through the graphic novels, and I found something. Squid, who is Nautilus' son, looks very similar to Whirlpool. Squid and Whirlpool have similar personalities - they both care about treasure and themselves above all else - and also look at Squid's face in the picture below and tell me you don't see even a tiny bit of Whirlpool in him:

THEORY TWO: Liana and Tamarin are related (although again probably very distantly)
This theory is probably the weirdest out of all of them, because all I have to prove this is that Liana's and Tamarin's scales are almost exactly the same. And because they are RainWings and they can change their scales and all that this is probably a useless theory but if it becomes canon there is proof here I thought of it u-u.
Just take a look at Liana and Tamarin and tell me you don't see anything similar:
They have the same shaped horns, both have colours of dark blue and yellow, similar neck patterns and snout shapes. SEEMS RELATED TO ME.

THEORY THREE: Glasses
Ok this sounds weird but hear me out. There have got to be plenty of dragons with poor eyesight, yet only two dragons in the entire series wear glasses, and only one tribe is confirmed to actually make glasses.
Cricket and Mastermind are the only ones who wear glasses, the ONLY ONES. Wait no I think Lady Scarab has glasses too...
In Book 13, Queen Sequioa says to Hazel: " [...] we'll have to borrow glasses from the HiveWings [...]" So this confirms that HiveWings have enough dragons with poor eyesight that they need to make glasses, but WHAT ABOUT THE NIGHTWINGS.
I'm probably reading into this far too much but I really want to know why.
Is it because smart people stereotypically wear glasses, so the two 'smartest' tribes on each continent are the only ones who get to have them?
THEORY FOUR: Morrowseer and Darkstalker
Alright so in Book 1, Clay describes Morrowseer as a really really big dragon (I don't have the actual quote and I'm too lazy to actually get the book and find where it was), but basically Morrowseer was big enough for Clay and Tsunami to look like little goats when they attacked him.
And then when Darkstalker returns, he is also described as very very big. But the thing is, Darkstalker got big from 5000 years of slowly growing. Morrowseer is a (somewhat) normal dragon, so how is he also very very big?
I understand that there is a different between them, as Darkstalker's wingspan covered the entirety of Agate Mountain, and Morrowseer was only just small enough to fit in the main cave under the dragonet's mountain, but how are they both very very big when other dragons live the exact same way and are still small?
Now that I think about it, Darkstalker must have been around Morrowseer's size when Clearsight put him to sleep, or else he might have been smaller. He was always descibed as a big dragon as well, and if he had lived a normal life, he might have been exactly Morrowseer's size - since he was just a dragonet when he went all evil. I feel like nobody talks about that enough.
