The Talk

*Zack's P.O.V.*

            Her voice sounded angelical to my ears. It felt like I hadn't heard it in forever. The sound literally sent shivers down my spine. Her outline in the dark looked so beautiful. She had lost weight since the accident, and I felt a stab of something go through my body. It was my fault she had been hurt. It was my fault for the cast on her left leg.

            "Zack," her voice floated over my way, "Are you ok? Do I need to call the doctor?"

            I snapped out of revelry and noticed  that I was shaking. My whole body seemed to be convulsing. This is how bad I needed, and wanted her. But her stupid dumb*ss brother wouldn't let me bear her.

            I hesitantly took a step toward her, and then ran the rest of the way. I scooped her up in my arms, and hugged her close to my body. I never wanted to let her go. I inhaled the vanilla scent that was her signature scent, vanilla and strawberries. I tightened my arms around her. I never wanted to let her go. 

            In the dim light, her green eyes sparkled as she looked up at me. They were like stars shining in the dark night sky. Her smile lit up the whole space around her. The whole illusion was absolutely breathtaking.

            "Jhana," I muttered, "You don't know how sorry I am for everything. Can you please find it somewhere in your heart to forgive me? When your brother first talked to me after the crash, he said something that made me think you were dead, and you know what? My heart died right on the spot. I didn't have any motivation to live anymore. You don't know how much I need you. You are the sun in my sky by day, the moon and stars by night. Your eyes are jewels from above and your lips are utterly perfect. When I look at you m whole day brightens. I can't stop thinking about you. I need to let you know one thing. I... I... I love you Jhana. I love you with my whole being, from the tip of my nose to the end of my toes. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I need you. You are my everything. If you're not in my life, life isn't worth living."

            I paused to take a breath. I looked down at Jhana and saw her looking at the floor. I gripped her chin and pulled it up, making her meet my gaze.

            My heart jumped in my chest when I saw tears streaking down her cheeks. She grasped my hands, and as I was about to say something, she put her finger to my lips.

            "Zach, you don't know how long I have waited to hear you say that. My heart is going crazy right now. I love you too. I have for a long time, I just didn't want to make it awkward between us," she rushed, then took a deep breath, "I need you in my life, now and forever."

            My whole body felt lighter. She loved me. She actually did. I pulled her to me, and crashed out lips together.

*Jhana's P.O.V.*

            As his lips came down on mine, I sighed in content. Everything was perfect. My whole world was now focused on this one man in front of me, the most amazing man ever. I knew everything was perfect.

            Zach deepened the kiss, and ran his tongue over my bottom lip. I granted access, and his tongue was in my mouth. The feeling was absolutely astounding. It was the best thing that had ever happened to me.

            His tongue explored every inch of my mouth until we had to pull apart for a breath of air. I needed oxygen.

            Our raged breathing was the only sound filling the silence. I caught my breath, and then pulled his lips down to mine again. This time it was my turn to initiate the kiss.

            My tongue slipped into his mouth, fighting with his for dominance. He finally let me explore his mouth. He tasted delicious.

            We continued making-out for a long time, who knows how long it actually was. My hands found their way around his neck, my fingers wrapped in his hair. His hands were resting on my hips under my shirt.

            I felt his hands slip farther down my sides, making their way to grasp my ass. I moaned into his mouth, and I could feel him getting even more turned on. He started squeezing my behind,, making me need more. I needed him completely. I knew it was too soon though.

            I ran my hands down his back, and  he shivered, increasing his hold on my ass. My hands were feeling his back muscles, they tensed under my touch.

            I started to take off his shirt, but he pulled his mouth from mine.

            "We can't, Jhana," he whispered huskily, out of breath, "I mean, look where we are. I want to make love to you somewhere special, not on a hospital bed."

            I looked around and realized that we had indeed fallen onto the bed. He was hovering over me, making sure not to put any weight on me. It was then that I realized it was not too soon. I needed him.
