A/N Hey guys! In case you were wondering about the time period of this story, it's right after Blood of Olympus. Like, RIGHT after, almost like an epilogue (but not really).
Just to let y'all know!

After all this time in the dark, Leo finally found his Sunshine.

"You're not gonna believe how I got here!" Leo yelled over the howling wind to his girlfriend, Calypso.

"Well, considering you came here on a giant metal dragon, it's probably quite a story!" Calypso hollered back, trying unsuccessfully to push her long hair out of her face. "Where did you get this thing anyway?"

Leo just responded with a feeble "I'll tell you later," as they soared over a particularly windy spot.

Even with that response, Leo could barely contain his excitement. He wanted so badly just to talk to this beautiful woman that he loved, about well, everything that had happened since he was gone.

They landed in a private area close to Camp Half Blood, concealed enough that none of the campers would see them. Leo wanted his grand entrance to be a surprise, it's not every day you come back from the dead, plus he just wanted only to be with Calypso.

"Okay Leo, spill," said Calypso, giving him a hard glare. For a few seconds, she continued giving him the stern look until she couldn't hold it back anymore, and embraced him in a giant bear hug.

"Sunshine. I. Can't. Breathe." Leo gasped.

"Sorry," Calypso said, pulling away, her eyes bright. "I just can't believe this is happening!"

"I know, I've missed you so much," Leo said sheepishly looking down and shuffling at the ground with his shoe.

"So, are you gonna tell me or not?" Calypso asked, folding her arms and quirking an eyebrow.

Leo laughed. "Of course, Sunshine."

The couple spent the entire afternoon together talking, Leo acting out his epic adventures and Calypso gasping and laughing. When Leo was almost done, he got serious.

"I missed you the entire time, I almost couldn't bear it." Leo knelt down, looking Calypso in the eyes, and her smile faded.

"When I met with Nemesis, and she told me I would be the seventh wheel, and it hurt because I knew that it was true. But then I found you, and I felt so comforted that I could love somebody who loved me back." Calypso was at a loss for words, and just stared, gaping at Leo.

"And then when I left Ogygia, I felt more alone than before on the ship, knowing that I might not make it back to you. When I was in battle with Gaea, I did something I didn't know I could ever do before. Calypso, I died."

Calypso looked at him like he had suddenly sprouted an extra head. "B-but, then how are you here?"

"I installed a cure into Festus, I had planned on dying. The cure brought me back to life, so I could come to you and get you out of Ogygia."

"Oh. Oh. Leo, you did this for me?"

He shrugged. "Yeah, pretty much. You're the love of my life."

Calypso laughed her sweet honeywine laugh. She stood up abruptly, and before Leo could do anything, kissed him right on the lips. Naturally, he kissed back.

"Thank you." Calypso whispered in Leo's ear.

"Anything for you." Leo whispered back. He pulled away, holding her hands in his. "C'mon, I want you to meet my friends. You can help me explain the trouble I've caused," Leo grinned impishly. Together he and Calypso walked to Camp Half Blood, holding hands the whole way.
