(P.O.V Switch)

Angel sat on couch the colors of the apartment living room spoke of ocean, wave-kissed land and rock. The scent sang of salty sweet scent like a summer treat or a warm carnival salty pretzel, movement of the water came from the corner where a fish tank sat bubbling with five well fed fish inside. Ones that Angel didn't recognize, the sound and aroma of the apartment gave the beautiful girl the fond memories of the past of the Arch club trip, sitting outside leaning on the fence looking out at the ocean with Feng and Vin. Angel looked mentally exhausted, her angelic face puffy around the eyes from crying, Rae held out a cup with warm liquid pressing the cup against her cheek, she felt the warmth coming from her daze. Her eyes were still glossy as if she couldn't fully focus "Its warm milk, drink it and you can take a shower I have some of my pajamas set in the bathroom for you to change into. Sorry if they're too big" His expression softened seeing her plump lips drink away the milk. He gently took the cup up helping her stand. She trudged to the bathroom and he heard the shower get turned on. The sound of glass shattering into almost thousand fragments before each piece gave a small thud against the wooden floor "tsk" Rae looked at his hand which once held the glass cup, only held a bigger fragment. He quickly got a broom sweeping the fragments, tossing them into the trash.

Angel came out of the bathroom with a oversized red silk button up shirt, and silk red pajama pants which were rolled at the bottom, Raes dark expression switched before she stepped out. Her pink hair very damp, small droplets falling to the floor "Angel" rae spoke ever so sweetly going to her side grabbing a towel drying her hair "You can't get sick" rae scooped her up, not too hard since she was still very light "You can sleep here and I'll seep on the couch" "I'm sorry for burdening you" he placed her in his bed covering her up like she was a child "Don't apologize, it's not your fault for their stupidity" he patted her head kneeling beside the bed until her breath evened out and she was in a deep slumber. Standing he went to the kitchen opening a cabinet and grabbing a bottle of sleeping pills from the counter before putting them in the back of the cabinet. He silently walked to his door grabbing his thick hoodie popping up the hood. Slipping on his running shoes he laced them tightly. As he locked the apartment door he read the numbers 1-1475-12, his complex was the only on in the town known to have apartment numbers that were long, which made many people not wish to rent here. Even better for the loner.

Squeaking echos sounded as he went down metal stairs reaching the ground floor, he patted his outer thigh feeling the Gerber Gator Machete with its eighteen inch Black Sawback strapped to his outer thigh, feeling in his hoodie pocket he took in his hand the handle of his Benchmade Bedlam which had its own pleasure of tasting flesh and blood. Keeping both items hidden his shoes made a rhythmic thudding going from where angel had ran from, he made it close to the household of the parks, just down the hood he stood hearing distant voices. They were simple mumbles until he began walking towards the mumbles. They turned to voices, shouting, Rae leaned against a wall the hood covering his handsome features "Vasco isn't like that!" it was an angry voice from a teenager, Daniel Park, who was in the front yard. His mother trying to calm him, tears in her eyes. David stood his face bright red also in anger at his own father trying to gift him his cousin who just saved all three of them that very day "Why would you even suggest that!"

David yelled at his father which through off the older man, before the old man could say anything the matriarch grandmother came outside with her cane smacking each person who had yelled which would be David and David's father "what is all the noise?" "mom!" White tried to start but was smacked again by her cane "I'm asking Daniel" The elderly lady lowered her cane as Daniel roughly explained the issue and how Angel ran away. She hummed, her wrinkles causing a deeper frown. Then she swiped her cane slapping White on his rear "To ask such a thing, adopted or not, she is your niece you disgusting creature. Should I have you re-marry another wife of my choosing?" "n-no i-its just-" "Silence, I agree with the my daughter-in-law that the boy should propose, yet even if he does not agree, it does not mean she should be given over to another man who she does not like" Daniels mom looked down in sadness "Enough fighting, find her. She is too young to be wondering the streets this late..." Daniel didn't wait lacing up his shoes.
