"What's in it for me?" Byulyi smugly asked. She had the upper hand and she knew it. She was in no way obligated to help him, but it did seem quite amusing.
Usually she was one to lend a helping hand without a doubt, but she was definitely going to make use of this favor. That same morning, 7:48 AM
It had started with as chill Monday morning, the group of friends briefly gathered before class as usual.
It was a pleasant surprise how clear the hallways were on their way to their respective classrooms, much opposite to the amount of stares and murmurs they cross by daily."-honestly, everything he feels is simply because it's what Zack felt like, so those aren't his own emotions" they argued
"I mean, she did die...anyone would feel sad"
"Please, didn't you feel anything while playing?" Hoseok added "i almost cried"
Seokjin sat down, starting to take his books out.
"Well actually, there's supposed to be a way to revive her, an Easter egg or something"
"Seokjin!" Jackson approached him with a wide smile "my friend!" It was quite impressive how fast he had learnt Korean, you could tell how much he had practiced.
He greeted him.
"Hey, who was that girl that came looking for you on Friday?"
"What girl?" He furrowed his eyebrows trying to recall
"You know, a really pretty one and she gave you a lunchbox.." he drew an imaginary box with his hands
"Lunch- OH!" He did remember "Noona?"
"So, she is a college student?" Jackson pried on
"Ah, yes but-"
"Ohh, Jinja? Is she really your girlfriend then?!" His eyes widened with expectancy
"What? No!" His face contorted into one of disgust " she's my sister!" He loudly clarified.
That's right, his lovely sister had 'graced him with her presence' (as she had said) and brought him the lunchbox he seemed to have forgotten.
That Friday he was so embarrassed of the events of the previous night that he hadn't managed to sleep a wink. Especially after the message he received from Moon Byulyi.
It was true he had been completely confused and made the wrong assumptions but she didn't have to call him out for being so dense! He even considered skipping school and not show his face for a few days, he just knew Byulyi would make fun of him as soon a she saw him. Not to mention Hyejin. How was he supposed to face her without seeming like a complete narcissistic moron?
Still, he managed to go and he was right of course.
Byulyi teased him nonstop and even hit him a few times. His friends oblivious of what was going on and he was too embarrassed to explain."Ahh!" Jackson clapped his hands together in excitement "so she's not your girlfriend?"
"Ew no!" Seokjin scoffed like a child "you can clearly tell who the handsome sibling is"
"I thought you had a cute college girlfriend, didn't think you'd have it in you, well," Jackson paused "you don't." his last comment rising snickers from his friends around him as Seokjin threw daggers through his eyes at them.
