Once childhood friends, now very distant.
What happens when they find themselves in situations where they can't ignore each other anymore?
Seokjin and his group friends were the heartthrobs of the school but of course they weren't the only ones
Byul...
It would not be the last time she'd underestimate the amount of time it'd take her to get to school, but it sure was the first.
Moon Byulyi had always had a sort of popularity so the stares at the new school didn't bother her. It couldn't really be helped after the ruckus she made before leaving her previous school. But not having her usual friends around, she felt a bit nervous with the change. She knew some of her old friends went there but she never quite kept in touch.
At first, no one approached her. Rumors must've been out of the bag and she couldn't blame them for being scared. But being that SeokJin was there gave her a sense of reassurance. He wasn't in her class, but he wasn't hard to spot. Sadly, that little bit of hope only lasted until she tried to approach him and he blatantly ignored her.
She knows he saw her. She was sure their eyes met. She even waved at him. But he just turned around, walking away with his friends. Even Namjoon slightly bowed his head to greet her.
She scoffed just remembering the scene. He's such a brat.
They started to grow apart in middle school, when they were put in different classes. They'd still get together during recess and walk back home everyday, except out of nowhere he suddenly stopped. She'd look for him; he'd come up with excuses to avoid her. It got boring, so she just stopped. By the time they graduated from middle school, they stopped talking entirely and then just decided for completely different highschools.
What is even up with that half-assed answer?! That didn't clarify anything! Only stupid? He was also a jerk for a whole semester! He could've at least said something she didn't already know.
She tried not to dwell so much on it.
Placing her pencil down, she rested her head on top of her notes. She kept on getting distracted from her chemistry homework. Barely even working on it, her mind just going wild with the events of earlier. Even when she picked up Heeyeon before, she kept on cursing at him in her mind.
For years now, she'd never really blamed him...but being given such an ambiguous answer made her blood boil.
