It felt like such a short summer break.

Guess it must be true that when you actually enjoy something time seems to fly.

Not the light coming through the window nor her alarm clock would usually disturb her sleep, but she needed to wake up.

The first day of school, how exciting! The sarcasm in her thoughts could probably be heard from miles away.

It's not that she had a hard time in school, it just felt like an oppressive system that didn't help develop the students as individuals, much more like a mass to be easy to manipulate.

With lazy and slow motions she got ready to eat breakfast and soon after leave.

Even if the summer break was over, that doesn't mean summer was entirely over too. So she decided to make the best of it.

She put on a light hoodie over her uniform that almost covered her skirt and finished it off with some make-up.

It is often thought that when people live nearby their schools or workplace they'd have higher chance of arriving early, but everyone knows it's quite the opposite.

Byulyi started eating her breakfast without a care in the world since she lived close by and could possibly arrive on time, which was never the case.
After being rushed by her mother, she grabbed her bag, plugged in her earbuds and walked to the beat of the music playing. She hummed and even moved along with it.

As she got closer to school, many eyes fell on her groovy figure. Of course they were! She was Moon Byul Yi! One of the school's biggest heartthrob!

She smiled and greeted from afar most of the familiar faces she could recognize, receiving more smiles and giggles in return. Juniors must've been so confused of who she was and question her extremely friendly behavior.

It wasn't much later until she was interrupted by her tiny and whining friend

"Byuuulyi!" Wheein said in a whiney tone "Hyegi said she doesn't want to join the art club with me this year again!" She proceeded to lightly push her other friend away, making her almost trip.

"Hey, it's not my fault that club is so boring!" Hyejin retorted as she regained her composure while Wheein only mimic her words in a mocking tone "it's nit my fault it's si biring" in a higher pitch.

"Okay...but what does that have to do with me?" Byulyi said laughing at the two bickering girls, when it hit her " oh no, sorry, I'm not joining either" she finally realized the intention of her knowing this information. Wheein instantly looked at Byulyi with her adorable doe eyes.
