Daniels POV
"Why can't we just go out to the park like this? Just holding hands. What, are you embarrassed of me or something?" I protested to Melvin, who was trying to fix the drone with one hand.
"I'm not, well, just...I don't want anyone to see us!" Melvin said.
"But why though??"
"Because it's embarrassing! We can't go out like this!"
"Ok so you are embarrassed of me! Great, thanks for letting me know." I said passive aggressively.
"It's not you, it's the Spy Ninjas." Melvin told me.
"What? What do you mean?" I asked him.
"They're gonna be all like " ooOoOhHh!! ThEy'rE hoLdInG hAnDS, oOh lA La!" I don't want them to say stuff like that!" Melvin told me angrily.
"Well let's just tell them to not then." I said.
"Pfft, yeah, like they'll listen to that, even if they don't do it directly in front of us, they're still gonna say stuff like that behind our backs." Melvin said, turning away from me and giving up on fixing the drone, and I couldn't help but silently agree with him, the Spy Ninjas are like that.
"I guess you're right," I tell him, "but then what excise do we have for not showing up to the park?"
"I dunno, maybe you got hurt." He suggested
"Maybe, saying something like I fell while we were walking to the park and twisted my ankle."
"Yeah, or I could just punch you and make it look real." Melvin said while smirking.
"Hah, you're joking, right?" I asked him.
"Yeah, sure I am."

I tried to fix the drone for a couple more minutes before giving up.
"You know what, we have bigger problems to deal with then just having our hands stuck together.
"Ughhhh, why thoughhhh." Melvin complained.
"Full Stop! Nope, I don't want to hear it! Our friends might be in danger and they need our help! Let's go!" I say as I drag Melvin back inside, hurting both of our hands with the glue pulling on our skin, but as soon as we were about to open the door and leave to go to the park, the door opens and...
