Daniels POV

"We need to talk." Regina says to me.
"O-okay.." I say and follow her to her room. Once we get in there she closes her door and her mood completely changes.
"Did you reject Melvin?" She asks me, sternly.
"He told you?" I ask.
"Yeah, he did! So did you?"
"Yeah, I-I did, I don't like him in that way."
"You broke his heart, you know that?" She angrily asks me.
"I didn't mean to!" I almost yell back.
"Well you did anyways! He told me he woke up at 5am this morning just thinking of what you said."
"Well I didn't like him back, so I told him! I wasn't going to Fake Love with him!"
"Can you just talk to him when he gets back?"
"About what?" I said, now yelling.
"Why are you yelling?! Just say sorry to him!" She tells me.
"Why??!! I didn't have to say I liked him back, I'm not going to apologize." I said and tried to leave, but she grabbed my wrist.
"Let go of me!" I plead.
"So you don't want Melvin to be happy??" She asks me.
"What?! When did I say that?? Of course I do, but I can't be in charge of that!" I finally got free of Reginas grip and left, I speed walked back to my Gizmo lab and shut the door, making sure to lock it. I felt a little bad for rejecting Melvin, but I didn't like him in that way, I still wanted to be friends with him but I don't know if he would still want to.

Melvins POV

I left the safe house to go for a walk to clear my mind, on the way out I grabbed a granola bar and was eating it while walking around the park. Daniel rejected me yesterday, and I felt sad and didn't know what to say so I just left his room, and next thing I know I fell asleep at it was already the next day. I wanted to go back to the safe house, but I didn't want things to be awkward between me and Daniel, I don't know if I'll ever get over him.

11am

I started to walk back towards the safe house, and once I finally got to the front door I took a deep breathe and unlocked it, when I stepped inside I just saw Vy and Regina filming TikToks, they didn't see me so I decided to photobomb them, when they rewatched it they saw me in the background.
"Hey!" Vy yelled, "Melvinnnn~!!"
"Haha!" I laughed.
"Hah, hey sisbro." Regina greets me.
"Whaddup." I reply
"The ceiling." Regina says. I paused then realized I took too long to figure out a simple joke.
"Anyways, tomorrow you gotta upload on your channel Melvin, so you might wanna get to that soon."
"Oh, right, I'm gonna go do that now, cya." I say and head to me and Reginas room to go into the gaming room in the hatch.

Daniels POV
12pm

I came out of my room to get some lunch, because this is usually the time I would get it, I decided to go for a salad this time, because Melvin just had to keep reminding me how unhealthy Subways sandwiches were. When I left my room I was hoping I didn't see Melvin there, but I did, along with Regina. We all looked at each other at the same time, I couldn't just turn around and go back to my room now, because they would follow me back into there, so I decided to just walk to the kitchen and grab the left over salad I made yesterday.
"Good day." I say to both of them.
"Hey" Melvin almost whispers.
"Hi" Regina says.
I place my salad on the table, and was about to open it when Regina started talking to me.
"Hey, Daniel," She starts, "can I talk to you for a minute, in private please."
"Okay." I sigh and we walk over to a hallway to speak.
"Listen," Regina starts, "I'm sorry for getting so mad at you before, it was your decision to tell Melvin how you feel and I shouldn't have gotten involved.. I'm sorry."
Regina doesn't apologize a lot, she doesn't really do anything wrong, atleast not intentionally, so I forgive her.
"Oh, yeah, thanks, it's fine, I suppose I lost my temper there a bit too." I chuckle lightly. "I was actually going to talk to Melvin about that too later today. "
"Oh, okay. You can talk to him now if you want, we weren't talking about anything in particular." She tells me.
"Okay, thanks." I say.
"No problem." She smiles. Gosh, her smile can light up a whole room.
We both walk out back into the kitchen and before I ate, I asked to talk to Melvin first.
"Hey, Melvin can I talk to you for a second?" I ask him.
"Oh, sure." He responds nervously, and him and I walk to the Gizmo lab, just before we enter, I stopped, still holding onto the door handle.
